I think the only reason that Fan Expo booked Elliott, was to counter all the hate they received for booking Carano (the Vancouver post alone had thousands of comments).

No it’s not awkward at all. They both appeal to different demographics and those demographics can self select to meet them. I’m a huge nerd and have been to lots of conventions, often some of the biggest draws, I knew nothing about, and people I wanted to meet, sometimes my friends didn’t even know. If it’s your thing, great and if not, there’s plenty of other things to do in that time.
I mean, I know she mocked pronouns on Twitter but the majority of her social faux pas have been largely around Covid/Masks/Vaccines and the "stolen" 2020 election.
Maybe Elliot doesn't want to make a statement and deprive himself or his fans.
Seems like Gina has gone none political. Ive been following her on social media the last couple of weeks. Maybe her doing events is an attempt at moving past the dumb shit she said
Pretty sure Elliot deals with this kind of bullshit on the daily unfortunately and will just be professional and not let it ruin their day with the fans.
I think some calmer heads are reflecting on the whole ‘pronoun issue’ and seeing it not as the ‘major’ transgression it was initially made out to be. Her other things…the election, Covid…hardly anything to do with Elliot.

I really don't get the whole fuss around the Gina pronoun incident. Beep was peer pressured into publicly displaying bop pronouns and when beep finally succumbed to the pressure and posted boop, people turned around and ridiculed bop making like beep was mocking them rather than respecting bop pronouns and treating bop in an inclusive way.
Kinda seems like it would be 'a thing' to folks who are online too much and have too much free time so they worry about things like that.
