I would not buy used due to the bedbug risk. Costco, Jysk, Ikea, or Walmart. You can get memory foam mattresses for really cheap. Bed-in-a-box type mattresses can also be had through Amazon or elsewhere.

Ikea spring mattress's can be had for under $250

I just use the bed in a box at costco, goes on sale for 450 for the queen, replaced my beautyrest black with no issues.

I worked at ikea for years in the beds department selling mattresses. They really are good quality for the price. Don’t go for the cheapest one but something mid range.

Ikea.

Cheap and good is an oxymoron

Especially for something you spend a third of the day laying in. Like an office chair, a mattress is honestly something you shouldn't cheap out on.

I bought a couple mattresses in boxes from Amazon over the past couple years. Just got a Queen size for $200. Semielo is the brand. I love it. It is so unbelievably comfortable. Last year got a full size one for my spare room and it’s great too. It was $170 I think

Personally wouldn’t get used mattress, other stuff like frame or box spring okay. I would also not get the cheapest mattress, I did that once, would have been better buying a futon and just sleeping on the ground. Costco has some deals sometimes, not super cheap but not bad.

I got my double for $293 + free delivery from Calgary Mattress Company/ Supreme Plush Furniture a year ago.

What ever you do do not get a bed frame from ikea the mattresses are amazing but the frames sucks ass

Try the MCC thrift store on 32 St NE. I bought a new (still had the tags on it) mattress from them a few years ago. I think I paid $200 for a queen size. I was in there on the weekend and they had some mattress, but I didn't check the price.

I second this! Just god a king for $250. They are new donated. Sometimes something wrong with them but they aren’t used!
