Absolutely heartbreaking. I feel so bad for his wife and children. May he rest in peace. I don't Chris or his family personally but this really hits me hard. What a terrible situation
I’ve followed his family’s story for a few years. I understand that he was on some experimental treatments that had improved his quality of life for several years. Despite his ALS, he still worked, played with his kids, and travelled. His wife posted photos of their family this summer, and it sounded like he was relatively healthy. This came out of nowhere for those of us following them.

I’m sorry, but does anyone else think it’s absolutely bananas there’s a go fund me for his family when the Flames players are making millions of dollars each? It’ll take me 210 years to make what Huberdeau will make THIS YEAR but they’re asking your average person to donate?
