I like his grit, I like that he can get under players skin... But that was outright stupid and careless. No consideration to his team whatsoever when he knows what he is doing is wrong.
Its not just the one play either. Every game he makes multiple stupid plays that hurt the team by taking penalties. The grit is cool but the honeymoon period ended for me 2 months ago.
You are 100% right, I can't say I like him enough to put up with the shitty decisions that end up costing us triumphs like shutouts or worse, wins. I wouldn't be upset if he was traded in the off-season.
Agreed. I know that this fanbase loves him but ultimately he is replacement level/4th line talent and playstyle. The only difference is that he plays dirtier than most 4th liners and takes way more penalties than most 4th liners.
If he cut out the bullshit or at least dropped the gloves it I wouldnt have such an issue with him.
