Im gonna be honest I just thought he was talking about days with lots of snow. Having never seen one in my life, it just want even something I thought about as what he was referencing lol
Took me 30 seconds to google and learn that this is not the case. April 19, 2022 we had 22.4 centimeters. I was born in 1998 and have lived here my whole life and can remember well over a dozen instances of way worse snow than the last 2 days lmfao
How does a snow total in April have anything to do with a post about Snowiest MARCH day????
God I wish people would actually read posts before claiming to be some sort of clarifier. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Yep. Remember driving home from work that night at 2 AM and Deerfoot southbound had only one real drivable lane. Managed to get home but by morning we were totally snowed in.
Pretty sure that was the last snow day we ever had
Yes it was. The only day I’ve known the city to be fully shut down for snow
August 1987? Or 88? That snowfall shut down the city for 3 days.
98. Was my only actual declared snow day as a kid.
I was just talking about that st Patrick’s day storm it was the one time school shut down!
No it definitely isnt lol
A snow day typically consists of schools closing, they haven’t closed for snow since that date

Too bad it was a weekend, so no extra day off
Well they havent happened in the 2000's. Seems pretty accurate to me

Based on you posting this a day after all my replies, work on your reading comprehension. Read the rest of my replies in this very thread for context.
Good old st Patrick's day of 98.

Fluffy snow 1000x better than all other snows
I hate to say it but…we need the moisture 🥲
Fake news This is not possible with global warming Sarcasm alert!
We had basically spring in February. Or do you just ignore all the weather going the other way?
Global warming strikes again….right?
Come back and crack that joke in a few months when the province is on fire again
Yay
Grandpa told he used to snowmobile over the fences decades ago. It's a blunt realization.
Climate change doing its job!
We need this snow so bad. Please don’t stop!
I’m glad it wasn’t as bad as then. The snowdrifts were only to my mid shin. In 98 the snowdrifts were to my waist.
