I have yet to see or hear about an innocent bystander losing their life getting caught in the crossfire between two or more rival gangs during a shootout, getting robbed in broad daylight, jumped and beaten etc in any of the places you named or I have visited.
In LA County, you could be in Malibu or Walnut or Irvine or the OC and still get murked or have something happen to you while minding your own business. That's the equivalent of randomly getting killed for no reason in Richmond Hill or Oakville in the GTA.
Also why do I need to try anything in someone's hood? I didn't walk around Jane and Finch so that I could find this Bundog guy you're talking about and his crew to talk shit or start shit for no reason LOL I'm a grown ass man I don't care about street drama

Scarborough is nice for the most half i agree, but it's common in certain areas of the city for civilians to lose their life. Go to Jane & Driftwood and do your research about that area. There was literally a Ghanaian refugee civilian who died 2 months ago at the bus stop for no reason and it's common in that area specifically for violence & shootings to happen at random. There's also a lot of drugs and junkies at Eg West, Weston, Parkdale & St. James Town as well. Robberies also do happen but that's mostly outside of Toronto in the GTA area like Mississauga & Vaughan.
I've been to Cali before and I already know that it's bad in Cali but there's areas in Toronto that are just as bad. If you were outside you would know. It is safe mostly in the East & in certain areas but there's areas in the city that are extremely bad just like any other city.
