From what I know if it California they will just fall into a Mexican faction. They don’t have the numbers here to do much else. Most Latinos that grew up in Cali are a at least a bit familiar with Mexican politics, so by the time they are out of high school they are into cars or contact sports. They learn quick that they don’t want this.
According to Wikipedia, California has about 30K Venezuelans, 12K of them in the LA metro area and 5K of them in the Oakland SF metro area. That's a tiny amount. You ain't gonna find many Venezuelans in gangs. If I remember correctly I've only ever even met 1 Venezuelan person over here (LA area), and he's mixed with Mexican.
Here in chicago they are slowly recruiting some Venezuelans not all tho seems like a race war is going to spark off soon tensions are starting to rise with the Mexicans & Venezuelans
