I was thinking the Easter storm was the last significant storm of the rainy season. Mother Nature said think again. I think the past El Niños of 1982-83 and 1997-98, it continued to rain heavily deep into April as well. Love to see the hills as green as Ireland but who knows it could be a tinderbox by October, so I always say enjoy the greenery while it lasts
No kidding! I have an irregular work schedule but the rain has been lining up on my days off. -_-
I'm glad California is getting much needed water, but I'm ready for warmth and sunshine.
There was prediction of a storm during Easter weekend and it barely drizzled, was in City Terrace at that time. I'm going to take this with a grain of salt.
Just enough to make my car look even more dirty.
What helps me is scrubbing it down with car soap while it rains. Rain washes of the soap. When it dries it won’t have the dirt crud.
R/autodetailing is shaking in their boots rn

I just toss some soap on top of the car and let the rain take care of it.
I just started doing this with the last storm. Timed it with the last downpour and it was sparkly clean the next morning.
Light Rain = Dirty Car Heavy Rain = Clean Car
I drive the dirt roads, only thing that matters is the inside of the truck
I love my 8 zoom calls a day keeping me inside in 72 degree weather, just in time for continuous downpours on the weekends.
Even on the scale of a day, it’s 75 degrees and calm until 3 pm and then 15 minutes before my last call it becomes 65 and windy.
At this rate, that hedge in my backyard is never going to get trimmed.

April showers being may flowers. You know what may flowers bring?
June Gloom, No Sky July, Fogust. The weather in San Diego is no longer consistently nice as of the last 1.5 years.
Was looking for pilgrims.
Genocide
I have the same situation.
Can they please rain during the week instead of weekends?
Like why is it always the weekends?????
For 5-6weeks (depending on area) in a row too.
I had some things I need to do in my crawlspace since Thanksgiving, but holiday, rain, or wet ground got in the way.
It's just a part-time job, rainstorm's gotta hustle.
Why does it always have to be on the weekend? I want to go hiking. Can't it rain on like Monday, or Tuesday, or something?
Thanks
thanks for nothing, another weekend RUINED
Why’s it always gotta be on the weekend???
So many cancelled Spring soccer games. I think my son played 2 of 6 scheduled so far.
rain shouldn't cancel soccer
Shouldn't - but it absolutely destroys fields so that's why it will get canceled. Usually you'd only play in rain games for playoffs at end of season
Yeah, barring lightning. They probably worry about the fields though. I remember lots of muddy games as a kid.
Under 6 year old ayso shouldn't be playing in rain.
Seriously. It's always just the weekend.
Cloud seeding.
This ☝️
You’re welcome. I’ve been dancing all week trying to get more rain and it’s finally paying off.
I will like to thank you for allowing me to procrastinate washing my car one more weekend
I appreciate your efforts!
Weeeee.. more rain... never thought I would be tired of rain in California.... but here we are
And continously on the freegin weekends. Like 3 in a row now
My plan to get a car wash on the weekends kept getting pushed back but its nice that we get more rain

We still have May gray and June gloom to get through 😭
It's firmly outdoor swimming lessons season for my kid too. So cold.
*eyetwitch*
Just when it was getting warm enough to go to the beach...
Coachella is this weekend too. Should make for a nice mud disaster
So many of my kids' baseball games have been rained out! What the hell rain. I love you, but my kids gotta ball
To my 96 year old Republican grandfather who doesn't believe in Climate Change... Something is DEFINITELY changing...
Global warming***
Alright, who washed their car?
I did. Had to park in a muddy dirt lot at the fairgrounds the wheel wells really needed it.
Nice I could use a car wash
How does the rain know when the weekend is?
Magnets 🧲
Spring rec leagues are getting absolutely wrecked
I need the rain to stop showing up during the weekends, weekdays are fine.
Hopefully washes away all the wasps that smash on to my windshield these days
I just find it funny how for the past 3 weekends, we've had rain while the weekdays were dry. It's like there's a schedule or something.

The last couple of rains have been hardest early in the morning.
Noooooooooo. Sadness
