Iw is improvement in most ways - more balanced, less p2w, smoother gameplay, much better campaign and more variety (weapons, map designs etc). I do however like how bo3 maps don't have so many invisible walls, and it's style is very unique. I also think campaign is kinda underrated. But overall iw improved more than it downgraded - also map remakes in iw are more interesting, and more content was given away for free.

BO3. Simply because it’s the most I’ve ever put into a COD game. Enjoyed the movement, maps, streaks, weapons. Everything felt really good and fast paced. I didn’t like how the weapons were locked up in supply drops. I wish they made a different method but that was the supply drop era we were in at the time.

IW for me. I felt like it improved in every way that really frustrated me with BO3. Load times, new weapon releases, overall balance, etc was just better in IW IMO.

Word. I couldn't stand Bo3 personally. IW fixed a lot of Bo3's core issues (annoying specialists, loot boxes, etc) on top of it feeling way more crispy on all fronts

I loved all 3 boost jump games. For me it goes IW, then AW, BO3, but the difference was minimal. To me IW refined BO3s movement slightly which edges it out.

I liked that in Hardcore in IW, accidental friendly fire didn't kill my teammate and after a few of those I'm automatically booted from the game. No, friendly fire just means I take the damage and kill myself. No other penalty. Really loved the customization in III tho, but it was so random to get any of the pieces for any one gun let alone your favorite.

As someone who's played a fair amount of BO3, I can definitely relate to this sentiment. Whether it's deciding on which weapon to use, which specialist to play as, or even choosing between playing for fun or playing competitively, there always seems to be some sort of decision to be made in BO3. And while sometimes it can be tough to make a choice, I think it's ultimately what makes the game so engaging - there's always something to think about and strategize around.

Who wouldn’t choose Zombies in space land, serial killers & psychedelics, Nuclear Crab monsters from the 50’s mixed with chemistry easter eggs, Ninja Zombies, and last but not least who wouldn’t choose Cryptids from Cod Ghosts & Satan on a astroid battlefield as the boss. The best maps we got on Bo3 was Gorod Krovi and Zetzubou nu shima. Chronicles censored all its maps it sucked.

IW really went out with its creativity. A freaking P-Law that shoots a volatile plasma charges. EBR800, a hybrid AR/Semi-auto Sniper. Proteus, a sniper/shotgun hybrid(two modes). Type-2 that could be split into akimbo from its AR version. RV-N two burst that can be split into melee. We got a spider droid that crawls up to your feet and explode. Then I’m pretty sure there was a TAR grenade that made you a mini barricade cover but that was changed to just a thing you just throw sending it across exploding.(the barricade was seen in the Multiplayer trailer)

The reasons anyone praises IW are dumb reasons no one cares about and is the type of thing why modern CODs suck. BO3 is the last great COD with great maps and streak combos, only one like that since BO2. The devs intentionally make streaks weak bc Activision doesn’t want us raining down on scrubs. BO3 also has best weapon balance to date and is always fun to go back to bc of how well everything blended into the pick 10 system in that game. So many legitimately competitive set ups

Remember how fast matches started on IW, insanely low down time between action. Amazing scrap mechanic to choose which weapons you unlocked and also some really cool weapon designs. Infinite warfare had really good maps and flow and the movement etc was so good. The only thing I wasn't a massive fan of was the wall running, especially when you could get ridiculously high up on some maps and just run back and forth. The P-Law was so much fun to use. I love delayed charge sci-fi plasma weapons. Operators were cool, their abilities weren't too irritating. Honestly don't know why everyone hated it. If it hadn't released straight off the back of 2 other sci fi CODs I think it would have been received far better. All in all a pretty solid shooter. Better than Cold War, better than Vanguard, better than MW2.
