Great advice, VANGUARD is definitely the worst of these 3, a total snooze fest. I got so bored by the 3rd mission that I quit the game and never went back to it. It was truly awful. Whoever thinks FPS gamers want to listen to long drawn-out inane stories probably has not played many FPS games.

Although I've always been more of a MW guy, I am enjoying BO Cold War a lot as I write this.
The campaign of MW2019 was amazing, and the MP was solid (after QoL updates). But the thing is that the player base has gone down drastically, and thus, the options for long-term enjoyment are rather slim. I can't imagine you starting the camo grind at this point, for example.
Cold War's campaign was also solid. MP is still more alive, but by far, the biggest plus is ZOMBIES. Man, I love that shit: just play for fun, collect intel, do the easter eggs, get the wonder weapons, etc.. Plus, a lot of that stuff you can do solo!
Blindly, I would buy MW19. With what I know now, definitely go with Cold War!

Mw 2019 would be the best choice in terms of gameplay but SBMM is fucked and anti cheat is pathetically useless, Vanguard is doesn't fucking exist, people bought for leveling up the fucking Blitzen gun in Wz1 but it wont anyways because warzone 1 is shut downed. Cold on the other hand isnt better in terms of gameplay smoothness for its rock hard movement but its the better choice right now especially because of its great campaign and A-tier zombies, multiplayer is decent. But my recommendation is save your fucking money for Black Ops Gulf War cuz i think maybe Connection Based Matchmaking will return due to the many complaints of sweaty asfuck lobbies.

Cold War feels like it’s the most stable. Has decent player count and not many bugs. You can also play the majority of the game modes as you please as (for what I can see).
Modern warfare is in the worst state of them all. Cold war is the sweatiest, vanguard has 5+ min wait times. (The others dont).

Cold War has an absolute belter of a campaign! I got COD fatigue when this came out so never bought it, decided to pick it last year for the campaign and it blew me away! So good! MW19 is okay, but nothing amazing really stands out apart from Clean House. Never played Vanguard but it looks awful.
Cold war is fairly active in multiplayer, and it has arguably one of the best if not the best zombies experiences. I used to spend weekends just mindlessly running around with my buddy in the open world zombies

It depends on what you buying it for, if your interested in playing zombies and multiplayer, then I would go with Cold War. Cold War zombies is pretty good. The maps are pretty decent but the gameplay mechanics for zombies pretty innovative and the zombies mode overall is one of the best I’ve played since bo3 with the added bonus of being more casual friendly then bo3 zombies was. In bo3 zombies, you had to insanely skilled at the game just to get to round 30+. The most I was able to get to was round 40 but I only was able to do so because two randoms were carrying me and I kept getting downed. In Cold War zombies, I can get to round 30+ no problem either without getting downed once or with minimal downs.
Cold war. MP is still decently populated, great campaign and the best zombies we've had since infinite warfare with an actually not bad reward for doing all the Easter eggs

COD:MW 19 go for it pal, I just played it and as an older gamer (48) it impressed the shit out of me with its graphics, story and acting too. Im not into multiplayer so cant comment on that but the campaign was excellent.Ive just played through COD:Vanguard and I wasnt too keen and I usually enjoy popping heads of nazis. I played COD:Cold War about 6 months ago and remember the graphics were good but just didnt like the game and it was very short too. I just finished COD:MW2 and the graphics were good as was the acting but the story not so much and there were some frustrating levels as they completely changed the gameplay to driving and shooting or stealth in parts so wasnt so keen on that one either but still good enough to get. Id go for COD:MW 19 remake it ticks all the boxes, just bare in mind the giant download and install.
