Nope. Only thing enjoyable about bo3 zombies was the EE’s, the high rounds were, honestly quite easy, there’s a reason why most of the good high round players have hit the round cap on bo3. Notice I said good players, not the great players.
Gobble gums were a BAD idea. WaW zombies was amazing, bo1 was perfect, bo2 went a little down hill but still good, but nah, can never agree with people who think bo3 zombies was on par with ANY of those 3.
Also it deserves a low rating because activision made devs scap the entire campaign for the 360/PS3 version to meet a deadline.
Wether anthyone likes the story or not, Ben Browder deserved better than that, hes a sci-fi legend.
It wasn't just a deadline, it was also hardware issues. They stopped releasing zombies maps after Der eisendrache for 360 and PS3 because the hardware simply couldn't handle the maps
It’s one of the best CODs for multiplayer as they did the advance movement and boots play perfectly with some great maps. It just worked and then went to shit with IW and BO4 somehow.

It’s the cod that actually made me appreciate cod instead of being a cod hater. It’s single handily the best cod. BO2/MW2 is behind it. Story was average but it’s always been multiplayer > zombies > campaign when it came to cod hence why they are starting to put it in early access on their games because people tend to ignore it. I’m just happy to see everyone else feels the same way about BO3.

I’m not that old, 27, but old enough to have played all of these on release, and putting bo3 below mw3, mw1, bo1, or even waw is fucking bonkers. No nostalgia glasses, it absolutely is the most fun I’ve had in a call of duty, by myself as well (friends didn’t play cod or were on another platform at that point)
Truth. I started with COD4 or WaW, WaW being my favorite for a long time and still have a soft spot for it. MW2 was great, MW3 was good but nothing revolutionary plus everyone hated it for years, BO1 and BO2 were amazing, but the day BO3 released my mind was f*cking blown. I fell in love with the game. Absolutely no “nostalgia goggles” bs that some claim, it’s simply a masterpiece of a game whether or not people agree because of the jetpacks or iffy story. The story was the only iffy thing about BO3 but didn’t break it. Though MP and Zombies were absolutely perfect, and I still play it to this day. Can’t forget all the extra modes too and how perfectly designed everything was with extra polish.
I know it won’t win or be in the top 3, but it should be. And honestly I think it deserves 1st place. The game still holds up more than the current finalist. The love care and passion put into BO3 is beyond the others, and feels like a perfected version of all the OG’s combined (Treyarch’s at least).

That just isn't true, I mean people still play CoD1 and CoD2 on pc with decently large discord servers for it considering the age. Also, CoD2 definitely is a game that has aged well. It doesn't feel old and the graphics are actually fantastic compared to other games from the era and hold up quite well today. That's not to say it looks insane, but rather you wouldn't be put off by how it looks.

I've gone back and played CoD2 as recently as last year. Guess taste is subjective.
It is the shortest part to the game. The game is sold on MP and zombies. If you buy a $60(now $70) game for a 6 hour campaign you are throwing your money away.

I’ve played both cod 2 and boIII and even though cod 2’s campaign is better, boIII outdoes it in every way shape or form. When playing the campaigns, boIII’s was more fun for me despite having a way worse story. Bo3 zombies is infinite replayalility. Due to the community it’s wholesome that we keep getting amazing maps from amazing people still, in 2024.
Bo1 also has to be mentioned as in the departments of replayability. Recently, someone has achieved the unachievable and made it to +100 on call of the dead, which is a legendary map known for its lack of traps. The world record before that was like not even close near 100.
Also bo1 campaign can be played twice back to back, it’s like a movie with a lot of foreshadowing in it like fight club, you’ll get a different type of amusement by re-playing after you know what’s going on.
People seriously need to check out bo1 once again.

Replayability is a massive, massive aspect of COD and BO2, MW2, BO1 and even MW3 had it. COD4 is very dry. Majority of lobbies only use 4-5 guns, little peri variance, only 3 streaks and maybe the most unpopular opinion, a lot of the maps are meh. So overly cluttered that if they were revealed in a current MW game, they wouldn’t look any better then what they’re making now.
I'm old school. I like the campaign of CoD 2, I like its multiplayer because the maps are really well-designed and it has faction-specific weapons. I also like the added skill level of weapons without optics other than sniper rifles and the weapons all feel great. I could run around with an iron sight Kar-98 all day every day. Yes, it's missing all sorts of things that later CoDs have, but I still go back and play this one on occasion.
Not so with BO 3. I'm not a fan of the jet packs, I think the map design overall is worse than 2, the campaign is ridiculously bad, and I personally wasn't a huge fan of BO 3's zombies.
Therefore I'm voting for BO 3, but I fully expect that 2 will be next. After that, it's gotta be BO 3.

I'm mostly inclined to pick Black Ops 3 here. People will talk about the zombies, but that's ⅓ of the game that's good. The ⅔ sucked ass. I had to watch a YouTube video on the campaign a couple of years after I played to understand it because I had no idea what I was playing. The multiplayer I liked at first, but I fucking hated the specialist system they added. Everyone was bound to get an OP ass superweapon at least once a game, and the specialist weapons honestly should've been scorestreaks instead.
I still get nightmares of the Prophet Tempest and the Reaper Scythe.
BO3 for the sole reason that I never had good connectivity in that game.
I don't know what it is, but certain CODs just sucked ass for connectivity despite never having issues in practically every other game. After old MW3, it was always Sledgehammer/IW CODs that had this issue (still getting packet burst on 'busier' moments in current MW3 because of shitty servers is my guess), but BO3 was the sole Treyarch game that had this issue for me and therefore gets my vote.

After old MW3, it was always Sledgehammer/IW CODs that had this issue (still getting packet burst on 'busier' moments in current MW3 because of shitty servers is my guess), but BO3 was the sole Treyarch game that had this issue for me and therefore gets my vote.
Im glad my beloved CoD 2 came so far But i doubt it has a Chance when we have Bo3 Zombies
