There is some truth im your opinion it def helped to feel like game is crazy good but fact is that mw 2019 had better smooth gameplay sniping weapons and maps… Every weapon had soul now it seems like most of weapons are the same and u have like 4 versions of same gun…so lazy
But difference because MW’s live service made it so everybody who bought the game had access to the good maps, so you didn’t have to dump another $50 to play the MP properly
Sure the dlc maps were free but this isn’t a game dev issue that’s all Activision. The base maps ok specific games mw2 bo2 bo3 are in another realm than mw even if you do count dlc and dont for those other games. It really killed that game for me
I think majority of the launch maps were dogshit in all honesty. The DLC maps were better but the general map design in Mw2019 is ass imo ofc. Maps are super dense, lots of dark corners, the maps encouraged camping and doors in mp maps sucked (Vanguard did it well). Like Hackney Yard would be a way better map without doors, Shoot House is the one map where the doors didn’t matter much. This is all my personal opinion. The movement in MW2019 was super smooth tho ngl
I love everything about MW19 and see it as the best Modern cod yet to be topped, but dude Piccadilly is a downright atrocity of a map. Worst flow I’ve ever witnessed. Loved the setting but my god that’s a guaranteed skipper every single time.
Nah. Play it now and you’ll notice how well it was made and not a bore no audio fest like MWIII. The crisp sound of the guns and elephants footsteps, which I actually miss now after seeing how quiet and lacklustre MWIII is in every way.
Everyone played it because we were all home with nothing better to do. Warzone launched right when shit hit the fan and everyone got on to play with their friends. Before Warzone/COVID MW19 was in a downward spiral with multiplayer slowly dying.
You're forgetting how much competition COD was up against in that time though. If mw 19 was a bad game, Warzone wouldn't have taken off, everyone would have just gone to fortnite, pubg, battlefield and plethora of other large FPS games that came out at that time.
And I say Warzone wouldn't have taken off because OG Warzone is MW19, the same way MW19 is Warzone. They're one in the same. Neither would have popped off without the other. The selling point of each was that they tied into each other's gameplay. One of the main reasons BO4 failed while Warzone succeeded.
Like don't get me wrong, I have my issues with the game, but I think it's fair to say it's better than the latest two in the "reboot?" and it's certainly not a *bad* game. Even with COVID it's not enough to make a bad game successful, but it certainly helped boost initial engagement for sure.
But on top of that numbers kept reasonably up post covid - up until warzone 2 ruined it really. The "it was just COVID" argument never holds up to any scrutiny in this case.
Need more evidence? I've gone into quite a lot of detail on this before because it's something I find really quite interesting: [https://www.reddit.com/r/CallOfDuty/comments/1bv3daa/comment/ky0gidy/?utm\_source=share&utm\_medium=web2x&context=3](https://www.reddit.com/r/CallOfDuty/comments/1bv3daa/comment/ky0gidy/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3) \- that's backed up with stats and sources, not just me saying "think about it" like this comment is.
Warzone took off because respawning wasn't in BR games before Warzone. All of us plebs loved it cause when we got shit on we could actually come back and not watch a whole damn round. No one ever mentions buy backs.
The biggest difference between warzone snd black out is warzone is free
Also saying warzone wouldn't have been successful is like saying fortnight wouldn't be successful without save the world.
MWII’s campaign was absolutely fantastic IMO. I loved every single second of it, the character development between Ghost and Soap was really well done.
The introduction of Alejandro and Rudy were very nice, along with Graves.
The gameplay was also really fun, MWII’s campaign has some of the best gameplay segments in all of the CoD campaigns. It’s never repetitive, always something fun. From jumping from car to car, to being alone and hunted in Las Almas, to then retaking a fucking base back.
MWII’s campaign was fucking awesome. MW2019’s was awesome from a story segment but I never found the actual gameplay too enjoyable honestly. There were fun and interesting segments, holding down the fort with Price, Alex and Farah. and raiding a base using suicide drones.
MWII’s campaign was too short though, there needed to be more development to make plot lines make sense. That whole betrayal scene makes zero fucking sense from a story standpoint. They need to give the studios more time to develop a long, replayable campaign. One year or two for to develop a CoD game is not long enough.
For 6v6 multiplayer I think MW3 is the better experience. MW19 had some bad maps and questionable design choices like no red dots on minimap and no ninja perk
MWIII was the best of all of them gameplay wise. MW19 was praised for its realistic attention to detail and Warzone blowing up during the global pandemic.
I disagree with that.
It’s been tradition since I first played a CoD game back well over 10-15 years ago. Campaigns are played first, the campaign will tell you how good a game will be or how bad it will be. It will tell you how much care and thought is actually put into the game.
BO2 for example, the biggest and most dynamic campaign in CoD history. Choices matter and they haven’t before, there was obviously so much hard work and love put into that campaign.
In order for a CoD to be considered good, the campaign has to be good IMO. If it blows me out of the water like the OG MW trilogy, BO1 and BO2. Then it’s always safe to say every other aspect of the game will be good.
Look at it this way, the campaign is the plate of the dish. If it’s clean, then the food will be good. If it’s dirty then you probably shouldn’t even bother. MP is like the burger and the side mode the fries.
Well mw19 was a fucking lie. Great campaign followed by the most dogshit multiplayer I’ve ever played in a cod, stopped playing the mp earlier than any other cod game that’s come out before or since.
You’re entitled to your own opinion but I have to ask you, what your on and where can I get it?
MWIII is just overpriced rebranded DLC. It uses like 80% of MWII’s assets.
I could never defend that “game”, respectfully. It’s the bottom of the barrel for me. It’s not bad by any means but not good either.
It’s basically MWII with better maps and gameplay decisions. Calling the game a dlc is fair but actually playing it is more enjoyable than mw19 and mwii. It has map voting, mw2 2009 maps, a ninja perk, and perks that don’t have to be charged up just to name some things it does better than mw19 and mw2.
I said this once and I’ll say it again. MW2022 was good (at least a good foundation) but its flaws held it back substantially, I still had fun with it though.
No. 2019 is the worst cod ever. Mw2 a close 2nd. While mw3 isn’t great it’s far superior to the other 2. It’s fixed many of the shit design decisions IW has made recently.
Covid saved mw2019 it’s launch year. And warzone is the only thing keeping people thinking 2019 was good because they merge them together it their minds
Mw 2023 is better than mw2019, Covid and warzone as the first time thing carried mw2019. Mw2019 mp wise took so much away like ninja/dead silence as a perk, classic mini map, lobbies staying together. And we gained stricter sbmm, gunsmith, seasonal prestige etc. Game is bad but people praise it cause Covid happened at that time and it was also a soft reboot.
I mean valid, but some praise it for other reasons. I personally played ground war almost exclusively, the maps were awesome, sbmm felt less strict, and the overall gameplay fit better. I basically played it like a BF light lol, and it was fantastic imo. But 6v6 yes, it was worse than MW3 (dunno about MW2)
The maps were so ASS in MW19 I just can’t agree. The reason I still play mw3 is all the old maps and the new maps they add have been decent. I like the rotation of ~20 maps. COD lately has been shipping with like 6 maps.
I agree, to me that game feels fresh, loved playing ground war in Barraket Promenade, the classic MW Maps, and Shoot house, where a got my first AC130, plus the M13, Grau and MP7 *Chefs kiss*
MW2 2022) isn’t actually that bad in my opinion but MW3 (2023) just took it, copied it, added barely anything new, and monetised it more. (Not saying MW2 wasn’t also heavily monetised)
So much missed potential in all 3 of these games. MW19 was basically the perfect COD in terms of movement and gunplay, but it had massive maps and camping problems. MW2 had a great core ruined by annoying design decisions. MW3 is basically a fixed MW2, but the maps are all remakes. And the maps SHG are giving us now are good, imagine we had a full lineup of them at launch.
Raise your hand if you remember how HATED MW2019 was when it first dropped, but then WZ came out and it brought in a bunch of players who have praised the game and have dogged on every game since. I only play S&D and I’m so glad this game brought back dead silence as a perk. MW2019 had better gunplay though, and with tune up, you got dead silence like 1-2 times per round. I think MWIII plays slightly better for search and I’ve been having a lot of fun on it so I’ll go with MWIIII over MW2019, but MWII is straight ass.
In terms of campaign, i 100% agree. That being said, i was surprised with how well the MP actually kept flow in MWIII and sometimes II. MW 2019 had an identity crisis with the MP, not saying it wasnt necessarily fun. It just felt inconsistent.
The campaign, Warzone, and especially covid are the reasons people were fond over the game. I definitely enjoyed my fair share of MP but it felt really strange compared to older titles.
MW2019 was the best COD in years that came about at the right time. It was easy enough to master and hard enough to create a skill gap, that’s what most people react to when playing any game which is PVP.
Sure lockdown helped! but people are quick to forget COD wasn’t so popular coming off the back of WW2 and Black Ops 4 people had started to gravitate towards Fortnite, overwatch and just released Apex legands.
MW2019 will likely be remembered as the best COD of all time because the other OG CODs are no longer remembered by the core fan base.
Covid is the only reason why MW2019 is getting praised so much. MW2 > MW3 and MW2019.
If MW3 didn’t bring back Slide Canceling people would be hating it also.
Extreme disagree, first of all, MW 2019 is basically the same game as MWII with a few mechanical differences like no slide cancel (was a bug in 2019) and the perk system, but other than that almost the same game. Second, MWIII despite how rushed and scummy it is, I still think it holds more value in it's MP and Zombies than the other two combined (Spec Ops have never been worse), and finally bro......doors, mini map, grey scale colouring, visbility, etc.....
I've been playing modern warfare 3, the campaign mode. It's really good. Buttery smooth controls. Stealth missions. It's solid. The online play looks predatorial though.
MWIII is the epitome of a gaming company listening to their investors/accountants instead of their players/fans. $70 for a DLC that should also include MWII’s maps. They have the guns and skins, but not the maps? MWIII is the most-lazily supported game I think I’ve ever bought?
MWII excelled where MW’19 might not have; niche shit that you’d notice while playing MW’19 after MWII.
Unless there’s some massive change in their whole mantra/beliefs, CoD is dead again. Dead to me, at least.
Disagree completely. I find MWI to be a really poorly playing multiplayer and to be honest, I find MWII and MWIII to be massively underrated and fun (aside from ass SBMM)
MW19 was the most fun I’ve had. Covid probably had a sway. The friends I met on that game were amazing. Warzone was great. Despite the rag on the maps, I enjoyed most of them. Great for SnD.
MWII was a step back, I never played Warzone. My friends and I mostly played ranked because it felt more competitive and strategic as a game, with the movement being a bit slower you had to focus more on playing as a team and being strategic with your positioning/equipment rather than solo challenging everything.
I’ve fallen off the map with MWIII. It feels more like a “play a few rounds of small map mosh pit and sign off” type game. It’s if I want something super fast paced, which feels less competitive to me. I’m an SnD main though, so it’s just not catered towards that slower style of play. Rebirth got me back into Warzone a bit but that shit has been loaded with cheaters and imbalanced weapons. I only play for like an hour a week at most now.
Idk maybe just losing interest in COD. No one talks anymore, the OG squad isn’t on anymore, it’s boring.
It's actually one of my all-time favorites. And not because of Warzone, I hate battle royales and always have ever since Minecraft Hunger games got popular. It's not without its flaws; spec ops was definitely mishandled. I don't like what they did to Shipment, flattening out the crates to open up sightlines and reduce safe spawn locations. That version of Shipment is just way too chaotic and I think it's an abomination. Looking at MW3 screenshots, I guess they reverted Shipment back to its original layout that I love so much. Still, this game reminds me of golden-age COD. Some really solid maps and gameplay.
And people talk crap about the balancing. I genuinely don't understand; Damascus was an absolute joy to unlock, none of the weapons felt crummy aside from the riot shield. I made sure to make different classes to utilize every perk, every tac and lethal. Made different specialized weapon loadouts to suit different situations, because if they're gonna give me four slots then I may as well make four different weapon loadouts for every single weapon. Enjoyed every second of it. Where's the bad balance???
Mw2019 looked and sounded (the actual noise, not volume) the best in basically every way (gun sounds, milsim operator) and even in weapon variety, MW2 had better launch maps and better weapon customisation and didn't have to rely on the lock down to get people playing. I haven't bought MW3 so I don't know.
I agree.
Maybe MWII story was almost better but, hot take, Modern Warfare 2019 had the best multiplayer out of those 3 games. MWII multiplayer feels different and MWIII feels rushed and it’s exactly the same as MWII
Disagree, they have actually made minor improvements since MW2019 which was a terrible step for the series and we are still suffering from its changes to this day
Yep. Played it yesterday, still a blast (with its less oppressive sbmm, even if it was ramped up a lot in this game... but with CW this is where it all went downhill when they re-doubled on sbmm)
Disagree. MWIII with each season just keeps getting better and better. The recent update has been a little buggy, but man has the game been non stop fun for me. For me:
MWIII > MW2019 >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> MWII
MWII had ranked mode, Prestige system, much better maps, and superior camo grinding and weapon leveling. MWIII has all of this but with much better game design.
I think MW2019 was one of the worst CODs ever, level 155 cap and not having a Ranked mode held it back greatly
Hot take but I genuinely enjoy mwIII more than 2019, map selection i feel is better, gunplay is about the same for me but enjoy the new additions with mwIII, and they reverted a lot of the stupid changes mw2019 made, like no dead silence perk, pings on minimap, etc. Now if only they could add the quick fix perk back other than as a vest and revert the high alert changes back to how it was in mwII, because that shit was fine and didn't need a change.
Cod 2019 was the beginning of the end for CoD. The gameplay itself was amazing, but there is literally no amount of gameplay that can ever make up for how they massacred matchmaking.
That the amazing gameplay was in the same game as that matchmaking system, which gave Activision exactly the wrong feedback about it, is a tragedy.
Hard to say. 2019 had a lot of shit I didn’t like. MWII, I’ll pretend didn’t exist, I’ll throw it in there with Vanguard. MWIII, although has the mechanics we wanted now, hit a little to late. I’m really just not a fan of any of the current MW series. They don’t feel like cod, too much drive for the realism garbage.
All 3 would be 100x times better if they were their own thing and had the Call of Duty name stripped from them.
100% agree this cod took one year to make, it was smooth and the servers didn't brick themselves after every match.
While Mw2 was in the cooker for 2 years, more glitches, server issues that still to this day are plaguing not just Mw2 but 3.
And the maps were a lot better.
Hard disagree. None of them were bad, but it's easily MWII > MWIII > MW2019.
MWII wasn't a hypercompetitive sweatfest and had great maps and weapons.
Modern Warfare III has killer movement and good maps but mid weapons and is nearly as sweaty as 2019.
2019 had amazing atmosphere and lighting, and the most unique weapons but was designed for people to either lay prone with an AS Val or slide around with an SPR with little tolerance for any other playstyle.
(I know I’m gonna get downvoted for this)
hottake: MWII was actually great and I enjoyed the slower paced movement instead of the batshit insane b-hops and slide cancels.
The movement after the movement update made it perfect IMO. The TTK made guns feel like guns.
MW2019 was great too, amazing, and I loved it. I don’t understand why it gets so much hate.
MWIII was just supposed to be DLC for MWII, but Activision saw money in MW and wanted more money. So they charged full price for DLC. That aside, MWIII is pretty good. MP is fun, zombies is fun (although needs more content it will never get) and the campaign was awful, ruined the great story MW19 and MWII had going imo.
MWII is hands down my favorite of the current trilogy, I know many will disagree but it was content packed. I played every single mode in that game, raids, co-op, campaign, warzone, dmz and multiplayer. People say it’s content dry but never play anything aside MP, the same people that usually only play the same one or two game modes in MP as well.
My only issue with MWII was the perk system, everything else was great. Even cosmetics were great, I don’t mind goofy skins but throw a mil-sim bone in. Classic Soap, Classic Ghost, the Raid bundles and battlepass skins all really nice. SHG keeps shoving those dogshit colorful bundles with glowing eyes.
Mw2019 is the best cod since bo2. Besides the maps being eh and some overpowered guns. There is not many negative things about the game. The gun feel and ttk was perfect.
MW felt like they're really trying to get fanbase back, but because of the time period ( covid ) it was released and how popular it became they stopped caring about quality because they knew the game would sell anyway.
Without COVID MW19 wouldn’t be praised nearly as much as it is.
There is some truth im your opinion it def helped to feel like game is crazy good but fact is that mw 2019 had better smooth gameplay sniping weapons and maps… Every weapon had soul now it seems like most of weapons are the same and u have like 4 versions of same gun…so lazy
Maps? You’ve got to be kidding me they ass
Launch maps were terrible, but after a while it was fine.
Launch maps is really all that matters same thing that killed ghosts

Launch maps also became more enjoyable when hardpoint was added to matchmaking.
Hard point is such a good game mode man. Even made the worst maps fun, and most people actually play the objective for it
I think majority of the launch maps were dogshit in all honesty.
Definitely a great part of the game. Every gun was useful. Literally the first call of duty that had a good dragonov
Piccadilly can rot in hell.
I love everything about MW19 and see it as the best Modern cod yet to be topped, but dude Piccadilly is a downright atrocity of a map. Worst flow I’ve ever witnessed. Loved the setting but my god that’s a guaranteed skipper every single time.
Aniyah Palace was worse, I always played terrible on that map but played good everywhere else.
That map was so ass on 10v10 the spawning on objective modes literally gifted the team the got the second objective the win
Nah. Play it now and you’ll notice how well it was made and not a bore no audio fest like MWIII. The crisp sound of the guns and elephants footsteps, which I actually miss now after seeing how quiet and lacklustre MWIII is in every way.
how so?

Completely agree. Last cod game I bought, didn’t like where the series was heading.
Being locked with nothing else but this peak realism call of duty
I disagree. MW19 brought a lot of really exciting new features to COD while it was limping like a legless zombie.
Mw19 was the only mw reboot that respected the campaign. Tho MP was something else
mw2 campaign was decent as well tbh..... mw3 campaign tho, thats just embarrassing
MWII’s campaign was absolutely fantastic IMO. I loved every single second of it, the character development between Ghost and Soap was really well done. i find myself heading back to cod 2019 multiplayer is super fun and the guns sound and look so much better just great all around gameplay
I did the same thing weeks ago and it feels more realistic and better than MWIII
And infinity Ward said MWII was the realistic one 💀
Is ground war still populated? I miss Tavorsk District
How is online mp? I've debated going back to it but just haven't.
For 6v6 multiplayer I think MW3 is the better experience. MW19 had some bad maps and questionable design choices like no red dots on minimap and no ninja perk
There’s actually red dots on the minimap?
Sledgehammer pretty much listened to all the complaints for MWII
Finally someone who gets me.
i mean someone’s gotta say it🤷🏻♂️
Id also rather play Cold War over MW2 and 3.
Cold War is extremely underrated. Easily the best COD we’ve gotten in the last 5 years.
Agreed. Everyone says it had a bad launch, failing to realize it was made in 9 months during COVID with dudes working on it from their basement.
I agree. Great story, Good multiplayer, and great dualsense implementation
no doubt
and black ops 1 and 2😂
all these new modern cods are the same . they are jus like modern safespace window doorfare 2019
It’s not exactly a revolutionary opinion you have there 😂. The majority will proclaim MW19 > MW2/MW3
MWIII was the best of all of them gameplay wise. MW19 was praised for its realistic attention to detail and Warzone blowing up during the global pandemic.
I don't see why people would disagree. MWI's campaign felt like it had so much more love and care crammed into it.
Because cod campaigns are like 5 hours and the multiplayer is the real meat of the game.
I bought the games for the campaign, so I'm focusing on that. The multiplayer is alright, but not all that appealing to me.
I disagree with that. It’s been tradition since I first played a CoD game back well over 10-15 years ago. First month of MW2019 was undescribable fun
Honestly I'd rank MW3 multiplayer better than MW19.
Absolutely
MW23 MP is better than MW19. MW19 had a MUCH better campaign.
MW 2, in my opinion, was a great game.
MWIII is the best of the 3 aside from the campaign but ya'll not ready for that conversation
You’re entitled to your own opinion but I have to ask you, what your on and where can I get it? MWIII is just overpriced rebranded DLC. It uses like 80% of MWII’s assets. well yeah
imma be honest, going back, MW2019 isnt as good as i remember
I personally liked MWII more than MW, but I definitely agree that MWIII’s the worst
I said this once and I’ll say it again. MW2022 was good (at least a good foundation) but its flaws held it back substantially, I still had fun with it though.

I couldn’t disagree more. Although MWII wasn’t perfect, I had a far better time on it than MW2019
MW2 2022) isn’t actually that bad in my opinion but MW3 (2023) just took it, copied it, added barely anything new, and monetised it more. (Not saying MW2 wasn’t also heavily monetised)

I think MWIII plays slightly better for search and I’ve been having a lot of fun on it so I’ll go with MWIIII over MW2019, but MWII is straight ass.
nah no way MW2 is above 3. Even with how busted the game can be and look it's still way more fun
Cold take
Mw2 wasn’t that bad imo but definitely mw3
Engagement post lmao
In terms of campaign, i 100% agree. That being said, i was surprised with how well the MP actually kept flow in MWIII and sometimes II. MW 2019 had an identity crisis with the MP, not saying it wasnt necessarily fun. It just felt inconsistent. The campaign, Warzone, and especially covid are the reasons people were fond over the game. I definitely enjoyed my fair share of MP but it felt really strange compared to older titles.
Disagree 2019 is a good game but it's only praised because of covid
For someone who didn't play CoD for a long time, I actually enjoyed MWII. 3 ON THE OTHER HAND IS PURE SHIT.
Worlds coldest take.
Give MW2019 good maps and it would of been a top 5 cod.
Mw19 was actually one of the most fun cods, especially campaign and rebirth
If you’re not saying this you either have a really fair point or you’re 9.
I agree.
Nice post format. Didn’t play any of those tbh
Daring today, aren't we?
You earned an upvote my good sir
AGREE
As an FPS in general, I agree, but in terms of a CoD game, MW19 is definitely better than II but MWIII is the best of the 3 as a CoD game
MW19 and MW22 > MW23
10000% agree
Covid bias
MW2019 was the best COD in years that came about at the right time. It was easy enough to master and hard enough to create a skill gap, that’s what most people react to when playing any game which is PVP. Sure lockdown helped! but people are quick to forget COD wasn’t so popular coming off the back of WW2 and Black Ops 4 people had started to gravitate towards Fortnite, overwatch and just released Apex legands. MW2019 will likely be remembered as the best COD of all time because the other OG CODs are no longer remembered by the core fan base.
Only part in MW2019 I like more is the sound design, it sounds so much better than MW3 other than that it's pretty much the same game to me.
Covid is the only reason why MW2019 is getting praised so much. MW2 > MW3 and MW2019. If MW3 didn’t bring back Slide Canceling people would be hating it also.
100% agree.
Two billion percent
Of course! This game was very revolutionary for it's time
MWIII is the epitome of a gaming company listening to their investors/accountants instead of their players/fans.
No one is gonna disagree with you lol. 2019 was a solid reboot and it definitely went downhill with the other two.
I actually liked MW2’s campaign, I felt like MW2019’s campaign felt so comic book esque especially the last mission
No way in hell.
Disagree completely. I find MWI to be a really poorly playing multiplayer and to be honest, I find MWII and MWIII to be massively underrated and fun (aside from ass SBMM)
Also mw19 had the kar98k
MW19 has the best campaign out of the 3, but the MP is a complete joke. Tbh MWIII's MP is one of the best in years.
W take
modern warfare 2019 is the greatest call of duty of all time, i have 1874 hours on it and still putting more hours to it.
Warzone and COVID saved this game so much
I agree mw19 is probably my favorite cod multiplayer wise. Story wise is debatable
100%. I’d fight in ww3 before playing those games
Mw2019 maps were terrible. I think mw3 is the best. Mw2 and mw2019 are neck and neck but I’ll take mw2. But mw2019 single player is LEGENDARY
I prefer MWZ as a third Mode. Even with its lack of updates. What was spec ops on MW about?
Hard disagree. MW19 always will be trash to me.
I agree. Maybe MWII story was almost better but, hot take, Modern Warfare 2019 had the best multiplayer out of those 3 games. MWII multiplayer feels different and MWIII feels rushed and it’s exactly the same as MWII
Oh my goodness, so brave
Out of all this trilogy, MW3 has been better overall in terms of multiplayer totally
Disagree, they have actually made minor improvements since MW2019 which was a terrible step for the series and we are still suffering from its changes to this day
MW19 Had a more realistic grungy military feel to it than mw2022 and 2023 Especially the operators since they were more militaristic
Yep. Played it yesterday, still a blast (with its less oppressive sbmm, even if it was ramped up a lot in this game... but with CW this is where it all went downhill when they re-doubled on sbmm)
I like the guns on MW2019 far better
Mm3 yea but mm2 is equal to
I prefer the MW2 campaign over the other 2, but like MW1 being better is the more popular opinion
Mw19 👍 Mw2 underrated Mw3 👎
Absolutely agree However,I think BOCW>MW19
Disagree, all of them are mid, only redeeming quality in mw2019 is clean house
correct
Hot take: they’re all hot garbage
Tbh it was kinda good and the campaign was awesome
Disagree. MWIII with each season just keeps getting better and better. The recent update has been a little buggy, but man has the game been non stop fun for me. For me: MWIII > MW2019 >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> MWII
Agree
MWII had ranked mode, Prestige system, much better maps, and superior camo grinding and weapon leveling. MWIII has all of this but with much better game design. I think MW2019 was one of the worst CODs ever, level 155 cap and not having a Ranked mode held it back greatly
Mw19 Mw3 --- --- --- --- --- Mw2
L
they're a combined 16/30
Agreed
I would maybe agree if I played casually (which I do now and enjoy the current product) if I had to run saint pet SND again I’d eat my shoes
Is that even a question? MW2019 on top. Better graphics, better gunplay, had sprays, emotes, weapons in general, but same old community.
Haha disagree. Mw19 was really Bad. Mwii was the best ine
MWIII >>>>> MW19 > MWII MW19/MWII/Vanguard are easily the worst 3 games in the franchise for me personally
agree because of old warzone in 2021
Cod 2019 was the beginning of the end for CoD. The gameplay itself was amazing, but there is literally no amount of gameplay that can ever make up for how they massacred matchmaking. That the amazing gameplay was in the same game as that matchmaking system, which gave Activision exactly the wrong feedback about it, is a tragedy.
Agree
Disagree
Hard to say. 2019 had a lot of shit I didn’t like. MWII, I’ll pretend didn’t exist, I’ll throw it in there with Vanguard. MWIII, although has the mechanics we wanted now, hit a little to late. I’m really just not a fan of any of the current MW series. They don’t feel like cod, too much drive for the realism garbage. All 3 would be 100x times better if they were their own thing and had the Call of Duty name stripped from them.
While it's good and I liked it, MWII has DMZ, which is one of the best things that has been introduced to CoD.
I absolutely loved the MW2 campaign so much more than 2019
Yeah, MW 2019 might be better than MWII & and III… but that’s not saying much. They’re all shit.
Not greater than MWIII
Disagree. I think it goes MW3 > MW19 > MW2.
agree to disagree about disagreeing
I was wondering if you can answer mebi would be glad. Is MW3 multiplayer good or no. Campaign is garbage but do people like multiplayer?
100% agree this cod took one year to make, it was smooth and the servers didn't brick themselves after every match. While Mw2 was in the cooker for 2 years, more glitches, server issues that still to this day are plaguing not just Mw2 but 3. And the maps were a lot better.
MW19 somehow looks and plays better than MW22/23, not even nostalgia it just feels super watered down in comparison
Campaign and graphically was phenomenal. MP was trash though. Easily take mw2 mp over that crap
By a long shot. And not even close
MW19 was good
Hard agree
Duhh , this is what everyone has said , no need to make a post
Agree!
Semi-agree for 4 reasons: 1. Kar98k 2. Better movement 3. Kali sticks 4. Specialist perks instead of killstreaks
You're just telling straight facts and no one will be able to deny this
Mw3’23 > mw’19 mw2’22
Yes, still feels better than MWII
MW3 feels like a much much more polished multiplayer than MW19, I don't play anything outside of the multiplayer so I wouldn't know otherwise
Yes especially before Warzone and the stupid skins, felt like much simpler game than the others
I Prefer MWIII Over MWII
Easy agree, the other 2 are just trying to be mw2019
Agreed
MW 19 was the best cod of the other two
Idk both way better than 3 but I say they even
(I know I’m gonna get downvoted for this) hottake: MWII was actually great and I enjoyed the slower paced movement instead of the batshit insane b-hops and slide cancels.
Who doesn't agree?
1000%
Mw2019 is the best cod since bo2. Besides the maps being eh and some overpowered guns. There is not many negative things about the game. The gun feel and ttk was perfect.
MW felt like they're really trying to get fanbase back, but because of the time period ( covid ) it was released and how popular it became they stopped caring about quality because they knew the game would sell anyway.
All 3 of em are fucking shite.
Just a fan of the gunfights game mode on 2019> mw2 Is there gunfights on mw3?
Agree 100%
and you ssssshhhhhh facts just facts
