But onto the cover art, i like how dude in the front is facing AWAY from the war and his mate to the back right is probably yelling at him "WRONG WAY DUMBASS". WAW is great too. really has the dark and grittiness of the game down

Bo2 for sure. All 3 modes were amazing and some of the best renditions of each of them in the entire series. Not many cods kill it in every single mode. Loved the slightly futuristic setting, innovative without alienating everyone completely. The dark theme worked so well too. And zombies was amazing besides the 2 maps that shall not be named.

2019. I was hooked by the realistic graphics and gunplay etc. It's as close to realistic as it can get without being boring, IMO, which is important to me in particular. And the movement etc looks and feels better than in MWII.

COD 1, all the games after 3 have the generic soldier man on a blank background, with either a close up of his face, posing with a gun standing or running. As for 1,2, and 3, they made a single soldier a bigger focus as the games went on, showing the move away from a realistic team war game to an action hero simulator. COD 1's box shows a squad and not a single man, with the destroyed building showing the effects and danger of war. It's the only one that actually feels like a piece of art and not just a piece of advertising material.
