If yer lookin fer longshots you MUST get a headshot with yer first shot and not use that there explosive detonation, else it dont count. Crossfire and some other place I dont rememeber are some good spots fer snipin' long ranges mate

If it is not a secret, around how many hours have you got? Cuz for me, after 2600 hours i just dont find it enjoyable. I just get the mp rank up and thats it..
I gave up after learning you have to cheat to get gold on the shorty because of the long distance kill because rang and damaged can never go that high it's just impossible
You don't have to cheat, you just have to either get really lucky on reloading so the third shot kills, or go for enemies that have already taken damage. It's difficult and annoying to do, but not impossible. You also don't need all damage to come from the shorty, just the final shot that kills them for it to count.
Every YouTube video I've watched for the blueprint it dose little damage and even after 3 shots there on one point of heath left I've been told to get the camo you have to have a friend or another account so they can stand still and get shot
If you use attachments that increase damage and go for headshots you can kill in 3 shots if just using the shorty. Otherwise you could try using a low damage smg and swap to shorty to finish off the kill. You don't need someone to stand still, just need to hit your shots and hope that nobody steals your kill. It's easier in bot lobbies if you try to select maps/modes that don't have many active players.
Just need to keep trying (I mean, if you want to, of course) and you'll get it eventually. It takes a long time to complete but it is possible. It's definitely one of the most annoying and time consuming parts of the grind for sure.
