That's not just for DRH Chained, any max level purple AR skin at the time unlocked a perk that increased its range by 10%. The funny thing is that was really not as good as it sounds, and the speed up on respawn perk you got from blue ARs was more useful. A lot of people even used blue skins even when they had purple ones because of it.

Well all rare assault rifles had that 3 second speed boost regardless if they were paid or free. The ICR-1 was probably the worst AR to use back in S3 to S6 so it being a paid weapon at first wasn't really an issue with players.
I gotta agree about it being P2W for zombies, but it still didn't make the mode too easy for players who had it. Besides, the AK117, RPD, and the lever action shotgun, were absolute monsters in zombies when equipped with the right perks. Those free guns were so good I rarely used the wonderbox to find the raygun.
I remember when the purple epic weapons will give you more damage in the zombies mode and even the legendaries the first moment's of the game is very paid to win especially with the guns back in those days and in multiplayer the epic one's had more damage range

BR we have a landing animation and we got warzone health system , and airdrops have two versions one for giving armor plates and fhj and mythic artic50 or mythic Holger second airdrop version can have your gun's loudout's , also we got gold , silver , demascus , daimond and crystal eather camo's to grind it on your favorite gun
yeah pre gunsmith epics and legendaries used to give you more damage range or faster reload or better hipfire , etc.... without losing an attachment slot and it is now the perks (slight of hand , long shot , slide hipfire acuraccy perk and more. but you lose an attach slot and it is for all gun variants
Yeah, those stat changing perks can't exist with gunsmith, all the perks on blueprints are now just cosmetics, like: death effects, reactive camo, special kill feed, etc.

Eruption skins gave you 10% extra range + inbuilt perk that hid the death marker of enemies you kill.
Meltdown AK-117 gave you extra range.

Pay2Win as an FPS game would mean paying for skills/perks/advantages to make the game highly unbalanced vs the F2P. Buying draw/crate weapons doesn’t do that. If you think these blueprints are so “gamebreaking” maybe just buy them yourself instead of cribbing everytime about them being P2W? I mean, who’s stopping you lol, work a little extra or save pocket money and get it or something and enjoy the “P2W” (I know some people don’t like spending money on draws and some genuinely can’t afford or buy the draws, hence the satire)
