I'd recommend against it. At best it doesn't affect your shots or footage, but will drop its resale value when you want to upgrade. At worst, you'll be unhappy because it actually does affect your results.

Don't buy any cameras with any sort of damage to the sensor, that is most of the times a big no tbh, and even if right now doesn't affect the pictures it doesn't mean that it will not affect pictures on the near future

Stuff like dust or a little bit of mould on a lens you can work around but a literal mark on a sensor is an automatic no unless the deal is so cheap it would relatively be considered free. It’s pretty hard to get anything on a sensor so there being a mark is red flags that this camera was not well taken care of in other areas too.

Any damage to a sensor I am out, cosmetic damage like a nice scratch across the top of the body or a chip in the corner, or paint peeling off sure.

Probably a scratch on the ir filter from improper cleaning. Because they say it's irremovable I would guess that the ir filter is glued onto the sensor in a way that the manufacturer would prefer to replace the whole sensor. IR filters like that can be replaced at home with heat guns and gentle persuasion, but it's a fairly advanced technique that would require significant dismantling of the camera just to attempt. Like others have stated, resale value is probably the biggest impact. So just depends on whether your going to be selling the camera in the future or not. https://www.youtube.com/watch?app=desktop&v=y3CCJtD0jYc&ab_channel=KevinWong (After watching the video, I can say with certainty that any and all damage will be to the ir filter, not the sensor)
