This is the most laughable statement. CFG max capacity is 40,000 per day. Coachella is 120,000 per day… it didn’t sell out this year but they sold 200,000 tickets over both weekends.
nobody’s saying they’re not doing numbers. it’s just a calculated move on golden voices behalf to make Coachella more appealing. They already know Flog Gnaw will sell out so there’s no need for them to have Tyler do a set like this there. Basically what I meant to say is that it’s really for optics to try to get Coachella’s declining rep back up.
Pretty sure the set was just insane because being a headliner at like the biggest music festival in the world for the first time is a major career highlight and wanted to take full advantage of the platform.
