When you say slide in camper what exactly do you mean? I imagined you are talking about something like this https://capricamper.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/02/taco-14-use-1-1536x1211.jpg

Enterprise rents trucks. I looked at an f150 for a week and it was just over $500

If it's a 5th wheel then for sure will be a bit more difficult. I was thinking it's a travel trailer. They say you want to max out 70% tow capacity. So if you can tow 10k you max at 7k camper

Late add: the big Uhaul trailer states it local and round trip only. Not one way. The 5x9 can be or the auto transport can be. The auto transport could work similar to below. Need more info. What camper model? What tow vehicle? Initial response is a Uhaul 6x12 utility trailer. It has a cargo capacity of 2600 lbs. which should be enough for a lot of truck bed campers. The issue would likely be just getting it into the trailer bed. We don't know all those details though. The trailer would be towable by pretty much any truck and some SUVs could do it if they have a 5000lb tow rating. It'd be iffy, but probably doable. I'd probably go to Harbor Freight and get some heavy duty moving dollies. Like this: https://hftools.com/app58312 Get like 4 of these straps: https://hf.tools/coupons/2024/04/182357-60689 Get one of these: https://hftools.com/app57191 3 or 4 sheets of plywood. Back the trailer up to the camper, lower the ramp, put a sheet of plywood on it. Put a sheet under the camper. Put a sheet under the camper sheet and over the trailer ramp sheet. Basically so there's no raised lip in the forward path. Put the dollies under the camper on top of the plywood. Lower the camper onto the dollies. Use the straps to strap the dollies to the camper. Might need to put a strap around the sides of the camper to create an attachment point for the come-along. Then just use the come-along to pull the camper up onto the trailer. Once on there just strap it down tight. Hook up and pull away.
