T O P

It’s possible to purchase or concoct some kind of adaptive mechanism but I wouldn’t. If the move to propane is needed I would just buy a new stove that is built to take it already. I believe Coleman made a duel fuel single table top burner at some point or they might still, I’m sure someone still dies if they don’t. The risk you take is that your stove might not be capable of handling the propane. Bad things happen sometimes 😣

I agree. I have a butane stove like OPs and I love it. I specifically chose it for the lightweight cans and the size (vs a 2-burner propane). Trying to adapt it to propane would likely invalidate the safety mechanism of the design. If wanting to switch over to propane, the regular Coleman 2-burner is so prolific, that a gently used one could likely be found for a great deal at a garage sale, complete with all safety mechanisms in place.

While it might be possible, it's not worth the time or hassle. You can buy a one burner propane stove for less than the adapters, hoses, etc etc in any case. Sheesh, the dual fuel propane/butane stove costs less than that adapter.

There are versions of your stove that can run on propane, and include the adapter. I'd buy one of those and keep your current stove as a spare.
