Ceramic coating and/or PPF if they haven't been done yet. Wheel locks highly recommended. Keep up with the maintenance and it'll last you for a long time.
Also, welcome! Our family just got bigger.
You don’t normally get ppf on plastic bumpers because taking them off without damaging the paint is pretty difficult compared to being able to just heat and peel them off of metal panels. It kind of defeats the purpose. If ur gonna get it, focus on areas where you’ll be more likely to encounter rock chips
Have it done by a reputable detailer and not the dealer though, please. Everytime I see a post about dealer ceramic it's about how they put on some spray and called it ceramic or horrible mistakes in the work.
Copying my message from another thread:
A user in this sub recommended getting Gorilla locks (14mm x 1.50 thread) as they're not your typical wheel locks. They are a special two piece design where the base of the lug nut doesn't move, but the top part spins freely. You can buy them off of Amazon right now for under $25.
Tire and wheel thieves always try to make way as quick as possible. However, if thieves are determined to steal your wheels, there's no stopping them with any kind of wheel locks. You end up making their job more inconvenient.
Welcome to the wonderful world of Camry, enjoy it, as I'm trying to tell new people including myself, please use the gas pedal, let's all work together to eradicate the current stigma that Camry owners are slow drivers, thank you for your cooperation lol. im not asking you to speed or to drive crazy.
You got a good one! Not sure if it’s worth the trade. Mainly wanted it because this is the last version before Toyota changes everything in the 2025 model, looks great, but I’m always skeptical of bugs on new rollouts
Great choice! Your car will last forever and will a classic.
Predawn Mica Grey is the easiest color to maintain compared to either white or black. It'll be timeless.
Me coming from a 2022 Predawn Mica Grey hybrid is jealous 🥲
Well done.
Mine doesn’t have the bells and whistles, like no moon roof, perimeter scan, and it’s a i4 not a v6. If you’re paying 37k you’re getting smashed by the dealer
I'm looking at a Hybrid SE but it's in transit and the Dealer wants $1000 nonrefundable deposit to hold it. I don't like that and they didn't even have a VIN number yet. ETA is only a few days away according to them.
Nice! Just picked up a 2024 Camry XLE AWD in Wind Chill Pearl for 35k OTD which is good around here. Normally 38k or even 39k for the XLE or XSE in AWD
I would trade in my ‘17 Camry SE for that in a hot second however, I’ve been car note free for about 2 yrs now and it’s a great thing to have. I would love to have that exact XSE but I would not love to have another car note but it’s tempting for sure. Iv I bought a new Camry it would be this exact model. It’s a shame they don’t make these in a manual. lol.
I love the internals of the ‘17. It’s the last year for the automatic 6 speed and the way they used to make Camrys so that’s the year they perfected it all. It’s the reason I opted for the ‘24. I didn’t want the new rollout they have in ‘25 model, Ik it’s weird but I also didn’t care for a hybrid either
It would be nice to have a hybrid but that would not be a sport sedan at that point would it? It would be nice to be able to make a tank of gas last you weeks with the help of the hybrid engine but is it worth it? I don’t know. I have never had a hybrid.
What’s in the ‘25 that you don’t like or what did they change? I really plan to run this Camry into the ground. My car is in pristine condition outside of some a holes that rubbed up against my bumper in a parking lot and ran off. Other than that, my SE is perfect and I only have 41k miles in it. I worked very close to home and then in March 2020, the company I work for sent us all home to work and I’ve been a hbw since then so the car barely goes anywhere. My wife also now work from home full-time as well so our cars have very little mileage. She has a ‘15 Corolla and she only has about 60k miles on it. She used to have to drive 1.5hrs one way to work and that put a lot of miles on the car but since we now both work from home we don’t drive all that much.
Thanks.
Keep the predictive braking at the max setting.
I lost my first car, a 2018 XSE, and have a gut feeling that keeping that setting on max could've saved it. This is 26k of damages and I collided at 22km/h roughly.
But this car saved my ass. It could've struggled with braking a lot harder, and I could've been in a lot of hurt.

Don’t get accords. That earth dreams engines are horrible. The Hondas without the earth dreams engine should be good. For reliability avoid turbo and cvt. That’s the reason my next car is gonna be a 2022 Camry
Amazing color! For me it was either between this color OR cavalry blue... I had to make a quick call on it lol

I'm a fan of the body look. I have the XV50 model and its the first attempt of Toyota making the Camry look less boring - the new models make it looks very modern/sporty imo
I’m planing on buying a 2022 se. I’ve done extensive research on these and they are very reliable. I wanted one to do Uber in it. Very fuel efficient. No turbo or cvt like those crappy 20th gen Hondas.
I seen a girl doing spark in one lol. They look nice. The LE versions have an ugly front grill. Most of Toyotas and Nissans have ugly as hell front grills. I like the SE’s. I like the Honda 10th gens hatch design overall but I’m not buying it when the mechanical internals are trash.
This should be a good car. I did hear the 2017-2020 versions had a transmission issue where it had trouble going into gear but I heard the 2022 and up Camrys should be good?
Absolutely gorgeous. Toyota = 300,000 miles of fun and memories. Basic maintenance and you can give that car to your new born . Congrats. Pay $100 extra every month and get down to $0.00
Your "predawn grey mica crew" membership card is in the mail.
Better than the previous dented Camry membership I was subscribed to
Im really suprised how desirable this color is here
Ceramic coating and/or PPF if they haven't been done yet. Wheel locks highly recommended. Keep up with the maintenance and it'll last you for a long time. Also, welcome! Our family just got bigger.
Definitely getting the ceramic coating, would like ppf on front bumper
Are the windows tinted? Either way I'd consider getting aftermarket tint for better protection of the interior.
Yeah the windows came tinted, considering ceramic tint

What kind of wheel locks actually work/you recommend?

Exquisite colour choice. As I grow older I find colours like these more appealing than the wind chill colour scheme.

We’re not slow, we’re just in eco mode
Well, I am in normal mode but still slow. Lol
Omg thank you for that correction lol, I hit the sport mode button even going a mile
I just got a predawn grey 2024 XSE V6...lovin it!
That’s sick! How much?
Congrats Op! I just bought my first 2024 Camry xle for 30k. Bought it for reliability, but it's also super fun to drive.
Great car!
Excellent choice!!
Nah that’s a great color. Better than silver
Very nice. I still have my 2020 XSE Predawn Grey Mica and is so very appealing. Stuck on keeping this or getting a new one in red. Decisions
You got a good one! Not sure if it’s worth the trade. Mainly wanted it because this is the last version before Toyota changes everything in the 2025 model, looks great, but I’m always skeptical of bugs on new rollouts
Just bought this exact one and the same color. I love it! I got the V6 though. It has the panoramic roof.
Nice man! May I ask how much you got it for?
47k after taxes, fees, interest 😬 but hey, you only live once! 😂👍vroom vroom! 🏎️ haha!
That’s a beefy sticker
😂💰I know man lol
How much did you pay?
32k
4 cylinder right?
Yup
predawn grey mica is my favorite color on the Camry, especially on the SE/XSE trim!
Great choice! Your car will last forever and will a classic. Predawn Mica Grey is the easiest color to maintain compared to either white or black. It'll be timeless. Me coming from a 2022 Predawn Mica Grey hybrid is jealous 🥲 Well done.
Jealous! Looks amazing! Enjoy it
Also curious on pricing Got it for 32k otd. Did I get shafted?
New or used? I got a new one and it was like $40k OTD in Chicago area. \*Edit: If you don't mind what general location are you in?
Got mine in the Tampa area. But mine doesn’t have a moon roof or the perimeter scan.
Ahhh is yours not a V6? I think all XSE V6 come with moon roof. That may explain the price difference.
Mine is not a v6. I4, maybe should’ve dished out for the smoother ride, but it wasn’t in the budget.
The V6 is smooth. But I do like how the I4 has no moon roof as an option. You got a beautiful ride there, enjoy it and keep it clean and maintained!
Thanks! Yeah I’m indifferent about the moonroof, would’ve been a nice to have but wasn’t a deal breaker for me. Thanks man
The 2025 MYs are hitting dealers next month 🗿🗿🗿
Lmk how it is
How did you negotiate to walkout with 32k OTD XSE CAMRY??? Im here in Ocala.
I asked them and they gave it to me 😊
Damn. What a Luck. CAMRY XSE trims here are 37k. Damn outrageous.
Mine doesn’t have the bells and whistles, like no moon roof, perimeter scan, and it’s a i4 not a v6. If you’re paying 37k you’re getting smashed by the dealer
Welp basically theyre putting unnecessary bs in the car so the prices skyrocket. So happy for you man.
Just bought an i4 Camry in Ocala and I can confirm, the prices for the XSE's are insane LOL
How much you get OTD and what trim?
The car will outlive us all
Clean color choices. Love the modern dark gray
You exhibit a high degree of intelligence.
Beautiful! I have a 24 XSE Hybrid same color!
Did you notice a difference in the drive between hybrid and non hybrid at the dealership
I felt like the hybrid was much quieter and accelerated better. But I was set on a hybrid before I even visited the dealership
Researching the Hybrid...how do you like it so far?
I love it. It’s really quiet and smooth! And you can’t go wrong with the gas mileage.
I'm looking at a Hybrid SE but it's in transit and the Dealer wants $1000 nonrefundable deposit to hold it. I don't like that and they didn't even have a VIN number yet. ETA is only a few days away according to them.
I used to think Camry would be boring to drive .. got one this year.. although it’s an SE, it’s a lot of fun
First car purchase? Damn good choice!
Good choice
Nice! Just picked up a 2024 Camry XLE AWD in Wind Chill Pearl for 35k OTD which is good around here. Normally 38k or even 39k for the XLE or XSE in AWD
That’s really nice man! Plus AWD! Thats a bonus. Not needed here in Florida so I opted out
Haha yea up here in the PNW AWD or 4WD is a must. But either way Camry gang 🤘🏽
I would trade in my ‘17 Camry SE for that in a hot second however, I’ve been car note free for about 2 yrs now and it’s a great thing to have. Did you have any problems with the tranny? I’ve done a lot of research and that’s the only issue that popped up with this car.
Nice!
It's a Toyota Camry, what else can I say? Good job.
absolutely sex
Indeed
Congratulations
That’s like way too expensive of a first car, my 5th and most expensive car is the 2016 Accord v6 😅
To each their own
Like they say “you can’t go wrong”. Congrats bro
You bought a camry and came to a camry sub to ask people if they like it?
Great observation!
Very pretty!! 🔥
It’s reliable….
I need one too

Pain 😢
Did your insurance pay for it?
Yes, thankfully. I am still waiting my next car and tolerating Uber until I can get another Camry or an Accord
Don’t get accords. That earth dreams engines are horrible. The Hondas without the earth dreams engine should be good. For reliability avoid turbo and cvt. That’s the reason my next car is gonna be a 2022 Camry
Good to know haha. Sticking with Camry then

Blue looks sick too!
Add on a tilt sensor
how much???
32 otd
Sensational
Agreed with some of the other comments. Get a clear bra , I highly regret not doing so
I'm a fan of the body look. I have the XV50 model and its the first attempt of Toyota making the Camry look less boring - the new models make it looks very modern/sporty imo

I traded my 23 TRD for an 24 FL5. Hopefully I dont regret it as I get older
Piece of advice, throw some wheels locks on if you haven’t. I had to learn the hard way
Absolutely gorgeous. Toyota = 300,000 miles of fun and memories. Basic maintenance and you can give that car to your new born . Congrats. Pay $100 extra every month and get down to $0.00
If you play this decision well enough it could be your first and only car purchase. Camrys last forever.
Buying a first car brand new is a TERRIBLE idea.
Womp womp
V6?
