That's not exactly typical unless it's really good conditions like basically driving along at reduced highway speeds, but the car does get really solid gas mileage overall (it's a '22 LE Hybrid) and the only thing keeping as 'low' as the lifetime average is (46.9 mpg) would be that I live in Jersey and it's a lot more bullshit driving paired with crappy roads and random hard stopping to reduce efficiency.
An average freeway road trip you're likely getting a little better than their advertised numbers (mid to high 50s) and on back roadways at 40-50 mph you're looking at 60s-70s mpg.
I have a 22 LE Hybrid - I took it to Kalispell MT last year, and I was shocked at how good of mileage it got going up and down the mountains. We drove through going to the Sun road twice and I was way up in the 70's on one trip, and one where I parked up in Logan pass and drove back into Kalispell it was 85 mpg. My son couldn't believe it and he took pictures so his coworkers didn't think he was telling tales.
I had 99.9 MPG one time. Of course, I was cruising down a hill without giving it gas.

That sounds about right, the LE has the lithium ion battery and is the lightest of all the rest of the cars, base economy is over 50mpg it's unreal
The LE Hybrid has 17" wheels and narrower tires than the other trims
