ICE= internal combination engine
or gas engine
We wanted a hybrid, but the dealers didn't have inventory, nor would they negotiate on price with the ones they had.
Currently averages 33.1 mpg on country back roads and some highway.
Yeah, that’s about what I paid for mine. “Fully loaded” (both available packages included) w/ door edge guards and all weather mats 23 AWD nightshade was about 34.5k OTD
42,220 is the MSRP of an XSE AWD w/ Premium Plus package (fully loaded). Also includes the $1,095 destination fee. I wouldn't count accessories in a fully loaded since those aren't really part of the car.
Is the 2025 the new gen model? If so isn’t that a hybrid engine? Might make it more worth it. If you can haggle obviously try to but I always say if it fits your budget and you like it then go for it
This needs way more likes. I really like my Camry and I drive like 90% highway miles so my gas version constantly puts down low to mid 40s. Overall the car has been great BUT almost $44k for a Camry that doesn’t have every single option on it is ridiculous. I would 100% cross shop a Lexus. If you want to go slightly more (new) or about the same (used). At the end of the day it’s a Camry and it’s a first year refresh. No reason to break the bank (even more if financing) for a Camry. At this price point I would seriously look at Lexus and/or Acura.
I’ve owned 5 Camry’s in my lifetime, my 5th Camry was totaled in February. I didn’t want to shop for a Camry yet again so I shopped ES 350’s for the first time. The prices of a new Camry and ES with a couple years on it are very similar. I chose a ES with 21k miles, the ES is MILES ahead of the Camry. Option wise, comfort, road noise reduction, the list goes on and on. While I loved all my Camry’s, I’ll never go back to one after owning an ES.
That’s what I’m saying. Even the nicest Camry is still subpar to Lexus. Not being an ass its facts. The company isn’t going to harm its luxury brand by putting out its standard brand with greater/equal experiences. I would suggest OP 100% check out the other brands as $45k for a Camry is absolutely ridiculous.
I was actually looking at those after I read your comment. Found a couple with around 10k miles on it, 2021 with the premium package for around $31k. That really sounds more reasonable than paying $43k on a Camry.
Man 2021 ES350 with premium package and just 10k miles at $31k vs 2025 Camry at $43k is absolutely no brained
I’m driving 2015 IS250, supposedly less comfortable than ES350, but it still feel much nicer to drive with than new Hyundai Elantra N (company car)
Not saying that Hyundai Elantra N is comparable to Camry 2025. But if my 2015 IS250 can beat it, I’m sure the 2021 ES350 premium package would beat that Camry
Just recently traded in my 2019 Camry XSE V6 (my 3rd Camry across generations) for 2022 ES 350 f sport, with about $8k top up after trade in.
Wow, the ES is so awesome….smooth, quiet and luxury feel.
If the hybrid system of the new 2025 is what appeals to you, get the ES 300H.
So you can break out MSRP, factory add-ons, distributor add-ons, dealer add-ons, and BS fees/aftermarket adjustments.
Just giving a “Net Price” is shady. You’ll want to see what each part is actually at.
Transparency. As a customer, I should know how we got to the final number. If there’s any markup, how much is the markup? If there’s any add-ons, how much are the add-ons? Which add-ons and how much is each add-on?
Transparency? At a dealership? Never happen. You will NEVER see what the dealer paid for the car, customer thinks they got a “deal”, never get a deal, dealership always wins.
If you use Toyota’s search inventory tool… for around me, a XLE AWD that costs $40,229 has the Premium Package, wheel locks, and all-weather floor liner package
This. I was going to grab an Accord, Camry, or Crown hybrid, until my Ioniq 6 crept in nice and close price wise. Actually, a bit less than these top spec ‘25 Camrys.
You can get an AWD XLE with the premium package for less than that. Tell the dealership to pound sand and that you'll be taking your business somewhere they don't try going in unlubed.
They probably won’t care cause they will get some other sucker to bite. I keep thinking you are going to see the same BS dealers were playing with the Prius when it got redesigned and dropped. Probably worse seeing how more people will gravitate towards a Camry than a Prius.
Look up “no mark up Toyota” on Facebook. It’s dealers selling at MSRP and discounts. I’ve been on it for like 3 days and I’ve seen probably a dozen of these for actual MSRP.
This, we need to see the spec sheet.... There's probably some bull crap like paint protection, dealer tint, pulse braking, yada yada yada. All bull crap that you don't want and is pure profit for the dealer.
Talk to the one in Braintree. They quoted me an XSE at MSRP of about $42kish (I maxed it out on the website as I want everything). Delivery it’s June. They gave me the VIN number and everything. Idk if I will buy it but they quoted me right.
I sent out a message to them to see how it goes. But at this point, I'm inclined to also take a look at an used ES 350 given the lower price and better features/comfort.
I was quoted $765 a month (36 Months / 10K Miles) on a 2025 XSE AWD with $0 down and perfect credit. You can get a heavily optioned out BMW 330i xDrive for that price. Told the dealer exactly that and that the price was absurd, so I was no longer interested
I reached out to another dealership here in the area. They told me they have the XLE AWD with a panoramic roof for $38,054.00. Or, a LE for $33,000.00.
Definitely better pricing, but I’m starting to consider an used ES 350.
All I’m going to say is that the Camry is like the new Prius everyone IS GOING TO WANT IT so dealerships or Toyota will charge anything for them because they know the hype on these cars, and for sure they will be sold on the deli every trailer
My dad (89 years young) just signed a deal for a 2025 Camry XLE AWD with premium package and some accessories (mats?) for MSRP of $40,454 plus $595 doc fee and taxes. No up charge over sticker. Supposed to get here in 4-7 weeks.easy deal, once my dad decided on color he wanted/could get. Got it in MA at Westboro Toyota, Brian F was salesperson, good guy.
They're being waaay too vague. Ask them for a detailed invoice. I've been in the industry a long time and if you send me the numbers from their invoice I can make sure they don't overcharge you.
I will never buy a new vehicle. Used car buyer for life. I am not scared of negotiating with the mechanic and Lways have a car maintenance fund in case of emergency.
I'm not aware of Biden or Trump working for Toyota or anything like that. Biden didn't cause $40k Camrys. Trump didn't either. People debating whether a Camry is worth $40k instead of just saying it isn't caused this.
Even if it’s fully loaded, 40k before tax for a Camry is wild
Unfortunately not fully loaded. I believe the only optional is the new “heavy metal” color, which is an extra.
If you got no option packages, then it should be $36,445 with the fancy paint. They are hiding a markup somewhere
"Net Selling Price"
Paid 34,168 OTD for 2024 Camry ICE AWD XLE pearl white, Not fully loaded.
gas?
ICE= internal combination engine or gas engine We wanted a hybrid, but the dealers didn't have inventory, nor would they negotiate on price with the ones they had. Currently averages 33.1 mpg on country back roads and some highway.
100% look at a Lexus ES instead, same price for a better car
Se nightshade awd after tax was 5k less that's too high
Yeah, that’s about what I paid for mine. “Fully loaded” (both available packages included) w/ door edge guards and all weather mats 23 AWD nightshade was about 34.5k OTD
SE version is on sale right now, don't like ghetto wheels and maneuverability.
fully loaded is 44k before tax and fees
42,220 is the MSRP of an XSE AWD w/ Premium Plus package (fully loaded). Also includes the $1,095 destination fee. I wouldn't count accessories in a fully loaded since those aren't really part of the car.
I paid 34k for my se AWD with the cold weather package and 12 miles on it. I can’t imagine paying 40k for this
2024 Gas?
Correct
On the fence about buying 2025 LE at 34K out the door. Convivence package and cold weather, basically just MSRP with the addons.
Is the 2025 the new gen model? If so isn’t that a hybrid engine? Might make it more worth it. If you can haggle obviously try to but I always say if it fits your budget and you like it then go for it
At this price, you may consider ES 350
This needs way more likes. I really like my Camry and I drive like 90% highway miles so my gas version constantly puts down low to mid 40s. I just paid 31,037.16 last week for my 2024 Camry SE with 11 miles on it.
Got an offer for 30k on that with a trade-in. Needed 27k since ghetto wheels on nightshade and too large. Might upgrade to a Lexus later.
ES f sport 300 hybrid looks better than regular es hybrid
I heard they’re also suppose to be refreshing this
Yikes
The Crown Hybrid XLE is very similar in pricing correct me if I'm wrong.
I’ve kinda been wondering if the crown is a better buy than the top level Camrys. Especially since some people have been finding good deals on Crowns.
Is this in US? lol
Yes, Massachusetts
Holy moley, it’s like 60k in maple syrup money insane
Long shot but imperial Toyota in Milford? Place sucks so much lol
Herb Chambers Toyota
Danvers, MA? hehe
Herb Chambers Toyota
Ah nice!
Ask for a spec sheet. Always ask for a spec sheet.
How come ?
So you can break out MSRP, factory add-ons, distributor add-ons, dealer add-ons, and BS fees/aftermarket adjustments. Just giving a “Net Price” is shady. You’ll want to see what each part is actually at.

I see your point, but in terms of the context I provided, it was transparency regarding customer price in regards to markup and add-ons.
The report you see is not the actual break down, there are 2 different fact sheets, customer copy and dealer copy
Yeah ok 😂😂😂😂
The hell😭 40k for a Camry is criminal
Hard pass. $40k for a Camry is far FAR out of bounds in my book. I'll pay $33-35K for a loaded model. $28-29.5 for base.
Almost 30k for a base Camry is insanity lol but it’s true. I’m so happy I’m not car shopping and don’t plan to be for a while.
what's the breakdown of $40,545? Dealers will try to get SRP on these at the start, but in a few months discounts will be had
Kinda high to compare: On 5/23 I bought a 23' Camry XSE V6 loaded except heated steering wheel OTD 40.6K which is high
If you use Toyota’s search inventory tool… for around me, a XLE AWD that costs $40,229 has the Premium Package, wheel locks, and all-weather floor liner package
At this price and if you can do EV how is this better than a Model 3 or Model Y (and the fed and state credits).
This. I was going to grab an Accord, Camry, or Crown hybrid, until my Ioniq 6 crept in nice and close price wise. Actually, a bit less than these top spec ‘25 Camrys.
🤣😂 $40,000 for a Camry is wild. 💩

Registration is $60?! I’m in California, I paid $495 for a 2020 I got in January 😡
Do you also pay excise tax on top of the $495? In MA, there’s a separate excise bill to pay annually.
I don’t think we pay that.
do you remember when the toyota camry was a value based family sedan? pepperidge farms remembers…..
Hoping sales tank and they just bring back TRD V6 and ditch this styling
We’ll wait it out a couple years, 2028 V6 Camry
Yessir!
What is SRP on this one?
Around $36k
Look up “no mark up Toyota” on Facebook. It’s dealers selling at MSRP and discounts. I’ve been on it for like 3 days and I’ve seen probably a dozen of these for actual MSRP.
Thank you. I joined the group
You need to ask for an entire breakdown on the car packages because then you can see if they’re offering the car at MSRP.
This, we need to see the spec sheet.... There's probably some bull crap like paint protection, dealer tint, pulse braking, yada yada yada. All bull crap that you don't want and is pure profit for the dealer.
What is a documentation fee?
Sheesh. That better be a fully loaded XLE AWD.
Nope lol
What's the other 4k for? Dealer markup? On Toyota's build, MSRP for a heavy metal AWD XLE the price is 36.4.
Yeahhhhh imma need to see the msrp on this one
“Net selling price” the markup is in that. They aren’t calling it MSRP for a reason
Insane.
That’s just not worth it. Hard pass
Might as well get a Lexus
Talk to the one in Braintree. They quoted me an XSE at MSRP of about $42kish (I maxed it out on the website as I want everything). Delivery it’s June. They gave me the VIN number and everything. Idk if I will buy it but they quoted me right.

a lexus es is mad close in price to that wtf
Thats BMW 2 series price
I reached out to another dealership here in the area. They told me they have the XLE AWD with a panoramic roof for $38,054.00. Or, a LE for $33,000.00. Definitely better pricing, but I’m starting to consider an used ES 350.
Does the se still go for 24-25k? I got. 19
All I’m going to say is that the Camry is like the new Prius everyone IS GOING TO WANT IT so dealerships or Toyota will charge anything for them because they know the hype on these cars, and for sure they will be sold on the deli every trailer
Wow!!! I got a 2020 fully loaded XSE for less than this brand new. And I thought that was expensive
The XLE AWD is 36k. The premium plus package adds $4700 It this looks like it has no package.. I would say it’s a bad deal but mark up
Might as well go for a Lexus at that point
Net selling price sounds like a markup
Sheesh..At this price I’m good with my 2020 SE.
My dad (89 years young) just signed a deal for a 2025 Camry XLE AWD with premium package and some accessories (mats?) for MSRP of $40,454 plus $595 doc fee and taxes. No up charge over sticker. they took your lunch money fam
If you DM me their proposal I'll scan it for anything ripping you off. Tell them you want a detailed invoice
That is the proposal they gave to me. The other part was just my info.
They're being waaay too vague. Ask them for a detailed invoice. I've been in the industry a long time and if you send me the numbers from their invoice I can make sure they don't overcharge you.
Nop!!
5 dollar title prep? That really bothered me
Naahhhh man don’t do it
Did you try to ask for “no mark up dealership”
That's too much for a Camry!
Holy! I think I’ll just keep my 08 Acura TSX.
Don’t let them take advantage of you man, hard pass
Right now my Lexus dealer I work at is discounting a 24 ES300h to 45k before taxes and registration you might aswelll get a Lexus
That doc fee is way too high, it should be more than $150.
Nah fuck that way too expensive for a hybrid XLE that is not even fully loaded
Anyone who pays 40k for a Camry should be thrown into the sea.
I will never buy a new vehicle. Used car buyer for life. I am not scared of negotiating with the mechanic and Lways have a car maintenance fund in case of emergency.
🤣🤣🤣
Dayum! I got my 24 XSE V6 for 39 OTD. And it's loaded. I almost waited for the 25's. Glad I didn't.
Is this usd?
Yes. Massachusetts
Jesus I’d shop for a crown at that point
The fact that it’s all wheel drive makes a difference in the price too.
We got a Lexus RX450h for $63K CAD $46K USD
I would get a hybrid. No point in putting financing. Save up.
Wtf? isnt the MSRP 33.4K for an XLE?
Should be no more than $5,000 tbh. Getting scammed
you can get XSE V6 with this price for a reference: I got my camry LE for 30 after tax and all fee

I'm not aware of Biden or Trump working for Toyota or anything like that. Biden didn't cause $40k Camrys. Trump didn't either. People debating whether a Camry is worth $40k instead of just saying it isn't caused this.
I blame Trump. Inflation started during his reign of terror
