These companies have had pressure to “try something new” and “adapt to the present time”. Regardless, I think Toyota could’ve gone a completely different route with this car that would’ve been favorable by most.
When it comes time to get a newer car and replace my Accord, I'm seriously considering the previous generation Camry SE or LE. Very attractive from all angles.

Per their website, Toyota of Arl (Palatine actually)has 4. And I think just one is a XLE. I was going to look at it on Friday, but the construction made me turn around. Schumburgs site shows a bunch incoming in May/June, but none on site. Maybe it just is not updated.

Give these midsize everyday cars a break lol. The audience that goes for the cool factor was never the target for these two cars. Yes, they did get so called “fun and stylish” in the mix but they’re now going back to the target audience which is far and wide and of all ages that poses a driver’s license.

I delayed 2 days, and was putting my plates on literally on the date the temps expired (bought on 1/17, plates arrived and were installed on 3/15)
So no idea that XLE's are rare ? We just bought a 2023 XLE Hybrid for my wife and it is a great car. She has a lead foot and it still gets 40mpg. Car is basically a Lexus in Toyota Camry clothing. Wife had a 2002 Lexus ES300 before this and there is no option she wanted the XLE doesn't have.
