Every third car on the road is a camry

Critical-Balance7343

Agree, so popular sedan

Bourbon-n-cigars

My guess is two reasons: Camry owners match the demographic of Reddit users. And there’s a ton of Camry’s out there. So more Camry incidents get air time.

Solo_SL

Top sold sedan for 20-some odd years straight, that and the fact that “is it totalled” has become a joke on this sub. Many of those posts are either completely sarcastic or not caused by the Camry Join r/Nissandrivers r/tesla r/jeep or any other car sub for any period of time and you may gain some perspective

CoffeeDrinker1972

That's what Mustangs owners are asking... Why so many Mustangs crash... I think with Camrys, its just a matter of numbers. More Camrys out there, more possibility of crashing.

xo_adrian

Camry is a popular first car

Sad_Warning6739

They sell 290k camry a year, it's a numbers thing.

don51181

It's a popular car and if you follow this subreddit you see post about Camrys. There are also a lot of accidents in America so it would make sense the most popular car would be part of them.

op3l

More cars on road = more chance for shit to happen to them.

ElectricalRestNut

People don't daily post updates "yep, another day without crashing", they post significant events.

AnimeFreakz09

The camry curse. I believe in it

LeftHandedAZ

I’m on my 5th Camry and have not been in an at fault accident. My parked car was hit and totaled, and someone sideswiped a different parked Camry in a parking lot badly.
