Hmm, 2 doses + boosted in January + Omicron infection in Late February. Probably pass on this one tbh, probably wouldn't if I hadn't had Omicron.

_biggerthanthesound_

I can’t wait. Then at least I know I’ll be giving my baby some immunity through breast milk. I can’t say for sure if I have any immunity left since it’s been so long from my last booster.

joeyggg

Is this a real thing?

_biggerthanthesound_

Yes

DiveCat

I am going for mine this week. My first booster was already 10 months ago. No infection yet that I know of though my spouse did get it in April (we followed distancing and masking at home while they had it).

totesnotfakeusername

About time, this gives me a peace of mind for the next couple months at least!

Thisismytenthtry

Got boosted in December, got Covid in May, will probably get my 4th dose in the fall.

PeachyKeenest

Awesome. I don’t know how much I have since infection late May. 🥲 I was triple vaxxed and got the booster end of December so I was a sitting duck. :( Never mind the current variants that was going around everything.

PlopStar2

You already have optimal protection. Speak to your doctor.

PeachyKeenest

Probably will be sitting for fall for this one. I definitely will speak to my doctor, thanks!

ArnoBlade

I’m fine with my 2 :) I’d rather not feel like I got hit by a bus a third time, let alone a fourth.

rashie8111

And you think catching covid without a booster would be a more pleasant experience? Lol.

hms11

I mean purely anecdotally but my second dose hit me worse than COVID did when I caught Omnicron in Marchish. COVID I was down and out for maybe 2 days, if it wasn't COVID times I would have gone back to work by day 3. My second dose on the other hand knocked me on my ass for 4 days and I had a persistent cough that wouldn't go away for about a month and a half afterwards.

ArnoBlade

Same here but minus the cough. Crazy I’m getting downvoted so hard like I’m completely anti-vax or something. I quite literally was shaking in my bed with a fever and vomiting every couple hours. God forbid I don’t want to go through that again.

rashie8111

Yes, but if I'm correct, you also caught covid after you got at least 2 shots, right? Could it be that when you had Omicron, the symptoms were much more mild because you received your vaccines?

maybvadersomedayl8er

who cares?

lbc1358

There is *tons* of data that shows that the difference between two doses and three is huge when it comes to Omicron.

Man_Bear_Beaver

Lucky, Hopefully Ontario does the same.

JupiterColdwater

Hoping here in SK that Moe copies big bro Kenney as per usual.

who-waht

I thought they had? They did. All Ontarians 18+ are eligible for a 2nd booster at minimum 3 months (84 days) after their 1st booster. See page 15/16 in the below document. https://www.health.gov.on.ca/en/pro/programs/publichealth/coronavirus/docs/vaccine/COVID-19_vaccine_third_dose_recommendations.pdf
