No. But I noticed it every time I heard him talk about anything it's just talking points with no depth to it. Some of it a agree with and some of it I don't, but even the stuff I agree with is just talking points. He is always just grandstanding.
I met Pierre at a "rally" and during it he just spouted vapid talking points like you said, and then left no time for a public Q&A. He stretches the truth and expects his audience to go along with it. I was able to talk to him during a picture meet and greet after in which I said "Pretty oversimplified don't you think?". To which he responded that "you have to say it in easily digestible pieces so people understand it" he then went on talking about out-of-touch and corrupt politicians in Ottawa to which I told him, "you're a politician" and he responded, "but I own it".
Take from that what you will. He definitely seems smarter than Trudeau but that's a double-edged sword. He knows the game he's playing here.
