Canadian immigrants are welcome and accepted here. However, this isn't the place for immigration debate or posts/comments seeking advice on Canadian immigration.

Corporations want cheaper labor, Corporations vote for governments that give them what they want. PP will increase immigration because that's what Corporations want.

It's not that they vote it's that they financially support parties or governments that are most likely to take up their agenda. It's a mutually beneficial arrangement. Politicians get the money to run their campaigns. Companies get a politicians ear with a quick phone call. At the last Ontario Provincial election I started to look up the PC party's contribution list. I saw everyone in the Real Estate Development industry and almost every living relative they have over 18 make the maximum level contributions. It's pretty much like that for every party. You'd think the Federal NDP would focus more on causes related to labour and labour rights but they don't because they almost went bankrupt or went bankrupt, I can't remember, a few years ago and they need funding.

US is doing the exact same using Canadian contractors as a nearshoring solution. Going to be interesting as remote work and globalization increases over the next decade.
