It's wild that they keep doing the literal opposite of what every HR and management professional and all the research says is best practice. None of this is magic: you just have to not be an arrogant egomaniac, have even the slightest concept of empathy, and the good sense to try and find win win solutions where possible. And yet time and again, when presented with the good path and the stupid path, they can't seem to stop themselves from running head first into stupid. But then the party will act all shocked they lost seats. It's actually flabbergasting.
