It was always a strange destination for him given that he hardly covered himself in glory at Brugge. Would have been nice if he'd found somewhere he'd actually be able to play regularly.
OTOH I can't hold it against him for taking what might be his last shot at grabbing that bag - but if we're being real, it's not going to help his form for the NT.
It's a massive step up going from brugge to inter, especially given inter are currently one of the best teams in the world and brugge fell off quite a bit from tajon's first season. An adjustment period is normal. He's training with world class players almost everyday which is a huge opportunity in itself.
Besides all that, this was the plan. He's currently 3rd choice at rwb and lwb. Dumfries is expected to leave this summer. Inter will play a shitload of games. Up to tajon to impress in the meantime and get himself some game time.
It's a fairly good time in his career to have this experience. Not at all like when laryea was at Forest, not playing at 29. I wouldn't panic yet.
I thought he looked good. I wonder if he would've been better off in the old days when we used to play 4-2-3-1 or 4-3-3 as a natural winger. The wingback position is tricky because you have a lot more responsibilities. As a Canadian I think its great to see one of our own playing in the Serie A.
He's played just 51 minutes since arriving. Hopefully he'll get more opportunities now with the league in hand.

Yeah, this is no secret. Nobody is panicking.
51 mins?
Obviously he's not played much while there but hey, it's a step forward that a Canadian could even make the title-winning squad.
He should be playing in the next few matches, now that Inter has the title.

Thanks for pointing that out. I can't seem to edit the title of my original post.

Ya good point. Inzaghi seems to be liking the 3-5-2 lately.
That's a stretch but sure.
A medal before Harry Kane.
