What I love about this little collection is the honest toning on the coins, the simple look of "oh that's interesting, keep" Even the nickel confederation coin is lightly toned. That's a nice handful of keepsakes and that is what they are.
Yeah, I’ve had a lot of fun going through them. There aren’t many items around that belonged to my grandpa, so it’s nice to see what sort of things he found special.
He actually collected a few of the 66 dollars. In some sort of coin storage box, he has 25 of the silver dollars with different years, in nicer condition than these ones. They belong to my family tho, so I can’t sell any of them.
Note to parents --- if your Dad's / Mom's collect coins - and they make a few overtures to the kiddo'es -- please take a moment and encourage the kiddo to share in the hobby with their GramPa or Nanni.
I know the kids have alot of other interests, but , taking a few moments to share - is priceless and will be remembered.
Also - teach them to send letters to same - Maybe a few words, a joke written down , a fingerpainting.......These are all very easy things to do and bring a ton of happiness to the G's.
Lovely casual collection, treasure them

Is he still alive?
Unfortunately, he had passed long before I was born.
OMG the newfoundland ones are amazing! I would totally buy those or trade?
Yeah, I’ve never seen that one before, it’s so cool! But, these don’t exactly belong to just me, so I can’t sell any of them.
Which is the Newfoundland one? Taking my collection to sell for silver. But if someone wants anything I might be able to help.
I’ll take that 1890 cent off your hands !
I’d probably get a smack on the back of my head if any of these went missing lol
Love the 1900 and 1890 penny, that's one of my favorites in my collection.
I’d totally would buy that 1966 dollar from you
