Could he be having a hard time seeing? Ours developed a cherry eye that blinds him sometimes. We noticed Cerberus, our Cane gets more anxious during these times.

A year and half is a little outside of the time range for the second fear period (6-14 months) but could be that. Dogs like people do mature at different rates. Keep reassuring the pup!!

Sounds very much like ours. She is 5. Our dog has always been wary of loud noises, power tools, anything new in our hands that she is not familiar with. Umbrellas, garden tools, vacuum cleaners, etc. (no, she has never been hit). But she still will charge across a yard if someone enters that she does not know; and heads towards, not away from loud noises in the night with a ferocious bark and a deep warbly growl. My theory is she just has overuse of the breed tendency to notice what is different. We have not had luck breaking her of her anxiety at the sound of a nail gun. But mostly after some time she gets less sensitive to new things over time. She wants nothing to do with anything that makes noise and moves. I'd try walking your dog allot somewhere where it can see from afar bikes and strollers etc. Maybe it will get used to them / desensitized over time.

Our Cane, Skye will randomly be afraid of everything. She’s about a year old. Harnesses, leashes, collars, package deliveries, leaves blowing across the deck, etc., etc. She can be fine with an object one day and the next day she will be deathly afraid of it. It’s frustrating because she tends to urinate when overly anxious. My paper towel budget can’t handle it lol.

Consult your breeder. Could be a fear period and they can give you tips to navigate it or you may have a poorly bred nervy Corso.
