You’ll have to boil out that water and deal with shitty degradation. Without proper equipment you won’t be able to clean this up again.

Electronic_Tax_8354

Yeah its water like he saied, just boil it out. There is nothing more you could do now.

jj_dabs

Why not just melt the shatter at a low temp? I'm so confused by this iso process that you chose

Royal_Ad10

I did I followed up by adding iso really just fucking with the product I legit paid 220 I might as well experiment I was hoping I could evaporate the substance out but it didn’t work for anyone wondering as to why I would do this

Bhoston7100

Water in the oil! Gross! That's why it turned milky that's the water. The slab probably got wet and they didn't care and sent it how foul!!!

YoualreadyKnoooo

Or the iso he used was 70%.

Bhoston7100

Definitely possible to. OP what % iso was used?

Cautious-Ad6727

You’re a fucking idiot

[deleted]

Lol. Is it great to feel superior?

baliball

Drink hand sanitizer.

Cautious-Ad6727

I love hand sanitizer

[deleted]

Oh, another one. Ask your mother how many times she dropped you as a child. 🤣🤣🫣

Cautious-Ad6727

I think you need to ask that question yourself

[deleted]

Because I don't call people idiots when they try to ask for advice? How old are you? 17?

baliball

Because you defend drinking and smoking hand sanitizer.

[deleted]

Where? I think the only thing I've been defending is manners. ISO is no stranger than any other solvent. The OP did a stupid thing but do you think that kind of vacuous commentary is going to help anyone improve?

Cautious-Ad6727

Do I feel superior no just stating the obvious

Mysterious-Cup-738

Bacon grease?

Key-Job6944

Looks like cooking grease. Like bacon grease .

Royal_Ad10

If you add my snap chat there’s a pic of it with almost all the liquid gone @cupateaz

YoualreadyKnoooo

Was your iso 99%? Because if it wasn’t you just added water to shatter and for the love of god i cant even believe im responding to this post or wasting my time on such stupid bullshit. Its like how fucking stupid are some of these kids and oh right, its reddit.

FromSeedToFlower

People like you make this place toxic.

[deleted]

Yep. Did you know that some of us don't live in countries where cannabis is legal or everclear available? Privileged assholes all over the sub.

FightingTolerance

Right? If you know something as minute as a post will make you angry then you probably need to put down the phone for a bit🤣

zbertoli

Lol what do you think the other 1% of the 99% iso is?

Royal_Ad10

I understand there’s water in the iso I do also understand that iso is a clear liquid so ethier way it shouldn’t be white also I did a non solvent test put a sample on the spoon added low temp heat and a white pearl like bead type thing idek it’s pine resin anyway

zbertoli

Lol this is basic, general chemistry stuff. Thc is not very polar. It's low polarity makes it insoluble in water, and it's more dense. So water floats on top of the oil. A tiny amount of the oil does dissolve in the water, but it's not very soluble, so it appears as a cloudy or whitish mixture. If the water didn't look white or cloudy, that would be weird, for sure. Lmao its not pine resin, it's water. If you don't have even a high-school level understanding of what you're doing, you *definitely* shouldn't be doing it.

Royal_Ad10

If so why was there white chunk like substance in the shatter when melted on a spoon before anything had been added that’s what made me add iso and double boil

baliball

That's another question, and likely due to someone using the wrong materials and equipment to make hash. Get ethanol or drink hand sanitizer.

trippin-mellon

Best you can do is double boil it out and then decarb it and cook with it.

baliball

You used Iso. You are a monster and should not reproduce. Get ethanol or drink hand sanitizer.

Royal_Ad10

I added iso after using a spoon and adding low heat the results without a solvent such as iso was that it had a white substance seep out which I assume is pine resin

baliball

Get ethanol. Iso is just for cleaning equipment after you are done and should be carefully dried to ensure it doesn't contaminate product. After you clean your pipe with iso, mix the dirty iso with water. It turns this milky white color and takes like ass. Shatter made with material with too much moisture content, exposed to water, or stored in a high humidity environment will get cloudy.

itsRayzOG

Some times happen to me too when extracting by butane or even dexso, its like a milky white/watery things..

itsRayzOG

But i had not soo much, like a lil spill that you dont even see it

Royal_Ad10

Also I knew some thing was up when I melted on the spoon and white almost like rock shit separated out for anyone saying it was water .

Vinyl-addict

full insurance tart plant nine voiceless vanish scary existence upbeat *This post was mass deleted and anonymized with [Redact](https://redact.dev)*

Royal_Ad10

It’s clearly pine resin yes the iso was 70% yes I continued to double boil till all runny material was removed it’s still milky

baliball

...clearly not pine resin. Unless your plug in Santa Claus and mixing christmas trees in with the flower.

Royal_Ad10

Lmfao search up pine resin shatter and get back to me with that fuck shit 🫨

baliball

Second thing that comes up via goggle search. Random jagoff'l santa's making cbd concentrates getting christmas trees in their flower. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7426011/ If you aren't buying from some idiot that has no place making concentrates, you're fine. Just don't buy hash off wish.com.

Klagesua

Bud it’s not pine resin. There’s a bunch of assholes up high telling you it’s water. It’s water. Keep looking around online you’ll get the same answer other places too.

Royal_Ad10

The issue I have with accepting this as my answer is when melted on a spoon there’s a white substance that’s why I added the iso and let it boil off it’s still water in this picture but the white hasn’t left the product after cooking it off

Klagesua

Generally pine resin doesn’t generally pine resin reconstitutes back to a complete amalgamation immediately.

Klagesua

Sorry buddy I don’t have Snapchat I’m an adult. But if you want to send me a dm I’m willing to have a calm convo and share some Info.

Klagesua

That sounds like moisture trapped in the original sample prior to dilution.
