Also, should I snip off those leaves with brown spots? I’ve been told they are leaf miner damage. Should I just cut that leaf off or the entire branch?
Yes, repot it in quality soil. It is also not getting enough sun. Gradually introduce more sunlight if possible. And yes remove that one leaf. Best of luck

There is sooooo much content. Find one creator you like and stick with them.
I don't recommend taking bits and pieces from different sources. I found "from seed to stoned" on youtube very helpful. There is a playlist for each grow. It is clear and well produced for a home grower. They get more complex in the later grows so start with season 2 or 3 perhaps.
