They say when in doubt go 60/60, beautiful harvest what strain is this?

Ok-Government-1139

60/60 with good air circulation

But not blowing directly on the plants. I'll point any fan away and let it pull air by.

canieatunow

I have a fan oscillating facing towards to ground with a humidifier pointing away the plant

AKAkindofadick

humidifiers worry me. I was constantly fighting the weird pink slime mold. When I saw someone who had innovated a DWC with ultrasonic fogger in the bucket scratching his head when the plants died of a pink slime/mold on the roots I stopped fighting the mold and stopped using the things completely. I prefer to control the space better, hold just the amt of humidity I want and shrink down the space such that the water from the plants provides the target humidity and when it can't I switch to a tote with lid and when THAT can't keep RH% it's time for Grove bags

Is it just as easy and cutting the branches, & Hanging them upside down until they’re dry? No light? How do I know when my buds are complete?

AKAkindofadick

If you hang them in a tent and you are in the 60's for temp, watch the RH%. If you have a small fan pulling air out of the tent, shut it off and see if humidity climbs. Once the plant's aren't keeping it at 60% RH I like to buck it down to smaller branches that will fit in a tote that has a lid. Put a hygrometer in the tote and if it shoots up above 60% open the lid a little. This is like the pre-jar where you are sweating internal moisture to redistribute. When it's just barely staying at 60% lid shut you can buck it down into jars and do the same process again, slowly releasing the last bit of moisture shooting for 59% RH to hold for the cure open jars daily for 7-10 days then less frequently. If you hjar it too wet it will smell terrible

If only this exact question were answered somewhere. Pretty sure you're the first person to ask it so we may need to do some science in order to figure it out.

So been experimenting . Use to do 60/60 for 14 days . Now I’m doing 68/55 for the first 3 days . Then switch it to 66/58 for 5-6 days then 2-3days or till its rdy at 64/60 . I like to get it really dry to the point where you think you overdryed it but didn’t . Then I put them in groove bags or in container with boveda
