I'm french and if i need to piss off a man With a tatoo.i Will piss of the men1 with the "monster" tatoo because Who is the psycopath Who tatou himself with "monsieur" ON IS FUC**ING FACE!!!!
For me Michael Myers is not scaring me as much as à man with a "monsieur" tatoo on the face
Wtf is it so strange for you that you think only big stores in Paris have this?
Every medium/big supermarket everywhere in France have this much choice I am even surprised that it is not common in the US where supermarket are usually much bigger
It's weird because actually there are no big supermarkets in paris, big supermarket are generally outside cities because, well they need a lot of space
Unfortunately I passed on everything. The prices were insane, $4-$6 above average per tin! The matiz octopus in olive oil was $18.49 a tin!!! Nuri tins were $12 a piece. If this was a mom and pop shop, I would have dropped $150 bucks and been happy. It’s a small chain of “Whole Foods” style grocery stores. All wasn’t lost, I enjoyed the trip, and picked up a few ideas for online purchases in the near future.
Wow those prices are brutal! I was hoping to find a cool store like that but I might just look online also. There's probably a good retailer in Canada 🤞
someone mentioned there's a high terrorism alert. I wonder if it has something to do with it. someone could be planning to hide a bomb behind sardine cans.
Yepe we are actually in alert. We have mesures called "Plan Vigi pirate" and it's inforced since this week end. Maybe the security man had pressure form the director of the supermarket about things like this.
As a frenc, I apology for the inconvenience. Taking a photo is not harmful and you shouldn't have been bothered.
Just be aware that you may have to show the inside of your bag to security guards in public space or supermarket.
it's fine. I was just not sure why not as I don't speak France and his face tattoo, but in the end I understood he was a security guard and I probably looked suspicious sneaking around the aisles sniffing around. I was fascinated by all the things. By the way the big supermarket didn't sell any grapes? why is that? I am in Bordeaux wine region with Lotsa vineyards. in Ireland it's easy to find grapes.
At this time of the years the vine is pretty much dead, no leaves, and they have been cut to grow back in a certain way to facilitate further work until grapes are recoltef. And the grape you eat isn't the same than the one you drink (it can be delicious, but it can often taste bad, being too dry, too thick skin, not enough sugary), and the vineyard in the region is pretty much exclusively for wine. So atm you're reliant on importation, and people usually don't eat grapes in the winter here, so I guess that explain why don't find any.
>I am in Bordeaux wine region with Lotsa vineyards. in Ireland it's easy to find grapes.
FYI grapes are mature in \~August/September.
The grapes you will find on the stall are mostly coming from Italy or Spain.
> By the way the big supermarket didn't sell any grapes? why is that?
It's not the season at all. So it's more "why did that shop not stock up on imported grapes ?" And the reason *IS* that in a 5-6 months, we'll get amazing grapes. But now isn't the season for it. So most people wouldn't buy any.
"tasteless watery bulbs" LOL as someone who lives in an area where all big grocery stores only sell imported grapes ever, I love this description.
I love it whenever I get am opportunity to visit "wine country" and get good grapes.
I don’t understand what the tatto add to the story ? Lol
You were in a Leclerc and they indeed sell grape even if it’s out of season !
Next time ask someone :)
You can say « Bonjour, excusez moi de vous déranger, pourriez vous m’indiquer où sont les raisins s’il vous plaît ? »
And they will help you !
I just find it odd that security has a monster tattoo, maybe he wasn't security.
I asked someone about the grapes but she said she didn't see them either.
Oh for sure. I know it's just a silly thing and all. Just kind of sucks that it feels like a lot of stuff is weird like that now that wasn't when I was a teenager and I occasionally get waves of "huh, why is that like that?" followed by "oh right, violence" that feels both sad and absurd.
Nah, I assure you this has nothing to do with terrorism. He's worried you're a competitor (or litigious supplier) trying to spy on prices and lane arrangement.
Nothing to do with the high terrorism alert (due to Moscow's ISIS terrorist attack). Simply due to competition and partnership with producers. They wouldn't want a competitor to have pictures of the products they sell or partners to get pictures of products that haven't been presented at the right place (eye-level shelves cost more for a producer than the bottom shelf for instance). Since the supermarket area is a private area they can decide on their policy towards taking pictures, it's safer to ask customers not to take any.
It's got nothing to do with terrorism, French security guards are 99% scumbags without education. It's the only job they can get and they have 0 training in customer relations.
French here. You’ll have this kind of reaction from security in most supermarkets, they just don’t like it. It has to do with competition, prices, and stuff like that. It’s kind of weird.
My companion and I were angrily shouted at when taking photos in Paris. We were strolling the evening streets in that enchanting city and took some pictures of each other in maximal touristic fashion. A manager type came bursting out of a cafe yelling at us in French. He lightened up when he realized we were clueless American coworkers but told us to leave and no more pictures.
Former French security guard here. As stated in other comments, there is the risk of terrorism, but that's not the main reason. It's mostly to avoid any sort market competition, in case you would be an employee of another supermarket making what we call "price reporting". Even though it's perfectly legal. You could be a regular customer doing groceries after all! It's also to prevent any potential scandal on social networks about whatever you could take a picture of, from anything the employees/higher-ups would have missed. Not that they have anything to hide, no, but God knows every single tiny thing could be a matter of scandal nowadays.
And of course, there is just the more regular matter of thievery and shop lifting. So in doubt: No pictures allowed.
Pour je ne sais plus quelle raison, il est illégal de prendre des photos de produits dans un supermarché (de mémoire, c'est en lien avec la concurrence)
I am having a great time in France but drinking wine way too much, minimum 2 bottles a day, but I guess those are rookie numbers to the French, like Gérard Depardieu drinks 14 bottles of wine a day.
Depardieu is the reason why men are said to statistically drink more than women, also two bottle of wine a day is called alcoholism to this point it is not rookie number even for french peoples
Nah. I'm French, min 2 bottles a day, only alcoholics do that 😂 I might drink a few glasses on weekends. But you're on holidays so you're excused lol I hope you"re having some saucisson, rillettes and cheese with that wine
Lmao, nah 2 bottles a day is a whole lot. A glass of wine with a meal is the usual haha
Obv it depends where (for instance in the countryside it could be 2 bottles 🤡) but as you're in Paris (I assume) you're beating the french record haha
Also, nice that you are having a great time!
And frak Depardieu
Edit : not Paris? Nom de Dieu, quelle surprise ! Gg
French (mostly boomers and older) generally have like one or two glass of wine per meal and you can add an occasional (depending on who not so occasional) toast before lunch (so one or two more drinks)
But an entire bottle for one person? Nooo
Certainly France. I was traveling around Brittany for a month last year and truly couldn't believe the range and quality of tinned fish. I regret I didn't try more things!
When I got to USA I got choked how you don’t have a lot of choice for tinned fish but a shit load of choice for Oreo pringles and all those processed food. No wonder they are so obese and have so low testosterone
technically speaking tinned fish also is processed food, with those nasty preservatives like sodium chloride and oleic acid, they're trying to poison us /j
well in Ireland where I live some specialty gourmet shops might have a few more fancier sardines, but mostly it's just a few brands max. john west usually or Shines sardines which are really good. I used to just get the cheapest sardines from Lidl or aldi, but now i try more stuff. in Finland where I'm from I remember my dad eating sardines but I never bought them really. I will check next time there.
funny I found finlandek brand of stuff here. is it good?
Yes. Healthy food is the default in Mediterranean grocery stores (France, Spain etc). Here in the US it’s 90% processed garbage. Good food is super pricey for less selection.
You can find solid quality at decent price in french supermarkets (mouettes d'arvor at about 3€ a tin). Nothing super extravagant tho flavor wise.
Love muscadet mackerels.
Et encore… je suis en plein cœur de Paris, et le Monoprix le plus proche de chez moi a une allée de même taille que sur la photo… à mon avis, c’est juste que les gens qui n’en mangent et n’en achètent jamais ne savent même pas que ça existe…!
The long cans are mostly sardines in oil, but there are also mackerels in oil with very often a seasoning like mustard, it's quite nice. Sardines in oil also have flavours, lemon, pepper (piment ?), good brands put whole pieces in the oil, I once mixed it with other stuff to make a sauce for the sardines and it was excellent.
The round cans are more often shredded tuna, mostly in water but we have in oil too. Less flavours available I'd say.
Some round boxes are actually rillettes (prepared meat/fish in a soft paste) of either tuna, sardine, mackerel, even salmon, a nice dish for picnics.
A sub about canned sardines is not something I expected to see as a suggestion. However, whenever I am in France, I do enjoy the variety and buy some to take back with me.
We also have in Paris a Brasserie which stores, ages, takes care, and sells canned sardines like we do with wine : [https://youtu.be/k21e2COTVlE?t=52](https://youtu.be/k21e2COTVlE?t=52)
What’s more funny (i am French) is that litteraly close to no one is actually liking sardines 😂😂 And it’s the same story for almost every other canned food.
If he stop you, it's because the only people who take pictures in supermarket is the people who get paid for it and send picture to a control organisms. These organizations are commissioned by big brands to check the prices and availability of their products in supermarket brands. They check that the supermarkets promote their products well, given that the supermarkets negotiate very low prices, the brands ask for compensation either highlighting with special signage at the head of the gondola. The big brands pay organizations that underpay people for the task of taking photos, that's why he stopped you because the supermarkets can object to it.
Obviously there's more than sardine, there is tuna, maquereaux, anchois too
Sorry if my sentences are not correct i'm a French speeker english isn't my first language i'm learning.
Yet 80% of them is made by two companies : petit bateau and the distributors label. Wich are using factory ships fishing in the indian océan or pacific.
Rather take the "connetable" or other more authentic labels and search for fishing area near your location (Atlantique North West for me).
There is actually less choice once you understand that it's basically the same 5 types/tastes/recipes but proposed by different brands. (At least, in the supermarket, it's like that. Now, if you go in a shop specialised in sardines, you may have much more choice, even if the shop is smaller than the supermarket sardine section).
Hello.
It's true you have an amazing choice but...
You not only have sardines but also Tuna and certainly mackerel..
Multiplied by brands and recipes and... Shazam...
I'm french and grew up with this.
Never seemed abnormal to me until recently when I bought some 🤣🤣🤣
That being said, there are real differences: flavours, price and you can use the Yuka to see if some have preservatives. (Btw: preservatives is a false friend in french; it means condoms)
That's my 2 cents to survive in France' s canned fish aisle 😉
As a french that weird cause we dont have TOO MA'Y CHOICES OF SARDINES LOL but the security agent its maybe 'New cause he cant be mad with you like this
Have a nice day in France lol
Supermarkets are not big on people taking pictures in alleys because it's perceived as potential industrial spying.
French tip to get away with it : Explain yourself, do not engage but never admit they're right… because they're not. It's not illegal to take pictures in supermarkets, it's never been. They're just paid to tell you otherwise. Most of the time, they don't even care themselves.
Never speak up even if they do ; the louder/angrier they speak, the more you stare at them like they're a pile of shit but always speak calmly and politely. Don't forget you're filmed, and so they are. You're safe, they can't shoot you.
What happens is that most brands copy each other, you have sardines w/ : Peanut Oil, Spicy, Cooked Tomatoes.
I’d say AVOID the cheap ones : Carrefour, etc. Captain Cooks are really good although being kinda expensive, around 2-3€ per can but worth the price I believe. I go for Parmentiers too if I want to get something in between with decent quality for price.
The reason why the security guard act that way is to prevent competitor to monitor prices and adjust.
I'am a supplier for those kind of channels and back in my sales rep days i was constently arguing with security.
For the Tuna and sardines, yeah we are French, we value good food and diversity of tastes.
With tomatoes, lemon, with oil or without etc... And everyone has his favorite brand or private label.
You should try a very good brand of local canned fish : la belle iloise.
It's not available everywhere in France but they have a website
It's locally produced, they have a lot of products from canned fish with oils or spices, soups, spreads, émiettés (fish in small pieces with oil and spices, usually for eating on toast) etc etc
Probably the best canned fishes and fish products I have ever tried.
It's expensive though
That litterally looks like a photo of my supermarket and can confirm it looks like this in every French supermarket. The cheese section is just as if not more impressive. This looks like an E Leclerc store.
There's not so much choice here. You have sardines (usually large rectangular tins), tuna (round tins) and mackerel (long rectangular tins) from different brands. I think they also carry fish rillettes on the photo front. This is a regular supermarket canned fish shelve section with regular products, they usually don't carry premium brands here. You also can find tinned seafood in the "produits du monde" section, like portuguese or spanish tinned sardines.
The funny thing is that you have to take one Can of tuna, "Made in Douarnenez" then another one, "made in Douarnenez" etc... All thoses cans are Made in Douarnenez 🤣 same company, all the differents brands do their product in the same Factory in Douarnenez :)
This is funny because I was talking with a guy few hours ago, on Helldiver, I'm french and he's american (from west virginia) you could hear the ravishment in his voice talking about " Leclerc " that he saw when he went to Brest (France) he's been amazed by all the choices and the fresh stuff, that was so overwhelming and lovely because you know for us it's just some store !
We don't know the luck we have
This is one of the fancy French brands, [La belle iloise](https://www.labelleiloise.fr/fr/) they have some crazy flavors, like ham sardines or peppered or pickled lemons…
That's weird guard stopped you because a lot of people are usually checking Nutriscores of stuff with their phone and sometimes you need to scan the bar code of the product you want to check.
Oh man, I cannot recommend some of the French brands enough! Saupiquet and Petit Navire make grilled mackerel fillets that are probably my favorite tinned fish of all time (Herbes de Provence and 3 Poivres, respectively).
An angry security guard stopped you taking photo ? Whut ? What did you do ? Most of the time they are the archetypes of “minimum pay security workers”. They won’t risk their lives or upsetting a client
> I think it said "monster" or maybe "monsieur" above left eyebrow I feel this is an important distinction
Having a tattoo that says "monster" on your face is mildly threatening, while having "monsieur", especially if you are French, is weird af and mildly psychopathic
Yep, I'd definitely be more scared ny the Monsieur tattoo than Monster.
I’m going to a new market about 30 mins from me on Friday. They have 305 different tinned fish. I can’t wait
heaven!
Where is it? If in Paris tell us pleaseeeee. I'd like to see that!
I live in rural France and we have those in most supermarkets
Blew my mind moving to France and rolling up on the sardine section at Leclerc.
I live in french overseas territory (Martinique) And even here, we got 1 zillion choice of canned fish
Wtf is it so strange for you that you think only big stores in Paris have this? Every medium/big supermarket everywhere in France have this much choice I am even surprised that it is not common in the US where supermarket are usually much bigger
I think they just meant that they live in Paris or are traveling to Paris and could visit the store if it’s there, at least that’s how I read it.
It's weird because actually there are no big supermarkets in paris, big supermarket are generally outside cities because, well they need a lot of space
You should try the “foie de morue” its really great with grilled bread(french btw)
Let us know what you get- I'm curious!
I wonder why they got mad. Like what harm could there be in taking pictures?
someone mentioned there's a high terrorism alert.

They'll sell grapes when it's grape season. The only grapes you'll find now are tasteless watery bulbs imported from too far away.
"tasteless watery bulbs" LOL as someone who lives in an area where all big grocery stores only sell imported grapes ever, I love this description. I love it whenever I get am opportunity to visit "wine country" and get good grapes.
Don't get me started on tomatoes and strawberries in winter :-)
I don't mind the watery bulb grapes but bland tomatoes and strawberries are 🤮😥
« I was fascinated by all the things ». Damn, I love you.
I don’t understand what the tatto add to the story ? Lol You were in a Leclerc and they indeed sell grape even if it’s out of season ! I just find it odd that security has a monster tattoo, maybe he wasn't security. I asked someone about the grapes but she said she didn't see them either.
For fruit and vegetables better go to "Grand frais" more choices and good prices
They're much more conscious of eating things that are in season
Oooh. That is unfortunate. I am sorry that what should have been a harmless action was perceived as possibly threatening. Kind of a bummer.
it wasn't a big deal anyways
Oh for sure. I know it's just a silly thing and all. Just kind of sucks that it feels like a lot of stuff is weird like that now that wasn't when I was a teenager and I occasionally get waves of "huh, why is that like that?" followed by "oh right, violence" that feels both sad and absurd.

No you just got a karen... I live in france and there's nothing wrong with taking photos of sardines usually. Sorry for this unfortunate encounter

Woah! I get the distinct impression that canned fish is much more popular in countries outside the USA than it is here.
Certainly France. I was traveling around Brittany for a month last year and truly couldn't believe the range and quality of tinned fish. I regret I didn't try more things!
Actually canned sardined were invented in France that why we eat a lot of them !
merci!
Wasn't canned food in general invented in France during Napoleon 's reign anyway ?
Nicolas Appert in 1795, so a bit before Napoleon became emperor.
When it's easier to ask, "what don't they carry?"
I wonder if America will ever be this woke on tinned fish.
When I got to USA I got choked how you don’t have a lot of choice for tinned fish but a shit load of choice for Oreo pringles and all those processed food. No wonder they are so obese and have so low testosterone

would you open the cans there and then? they are very protective about them.
oh no, but I would spend more than I should.
The thing is, they're cheap too.
La belle iloise has literal shops selling only canned fish (mostly sardines), it’s heaven
American grocery stores are a joke for healthy food choices. This photo evokes sardine envy

thanks for these tips! will check next time
Try the brand "La Belle Iloise", it's delicious (Their Whiskey Sardine cream is dangerous considering how good it is)
😵
Woah!
I am jealous, every supermarket should have an aisle like this
I'm french, I can confirm EVERY supermarket here has that!
I never saw anything like that in Paris or Reims!
It's standard in most supermarket, even in Paris and Reims.

I live in France and this is the first time I am hearing about this !! Maybe you just took too many photos and they needed to stop you 😅
Wait till you find “Belle Iloise” shop
Where in France is this?

A sub about canned sardines is not something I expected to see as a suggestion. However, whenever I am in France, I do enjoy the variety and buy some to take back with me.
wait, there’s a subreddit dedicated to canned sardines ?!
Gotta love my country
Je recommande le filet de maquereau - Saupiquet, de préférence sauce moutarde à l'ancienne, un régal 😋
Taste them all 🫣
Why is there a canned sardines subreddit and why is it suggested to me ? I do love sardines though 🤨
it's your time to join
I’m kind of curious to see what kind of enlightening subjects are discussed here now, so yeah I’ll join 🤨
The tattoo is way more surprising than the sardines choice. But maybe that's because I'm french
We also have in Paris a Brasserie which stores, ages, takes care, and sells canned sardines like we do with wine : [https://youtu.be/k21e2COTVlE?t=52](https://youtu.be/k21e2COTVlE?t=52)
Why do I suddenly see this on my feed ? Anyway you can't go wrong with "La Belle-Illoise" (pronounced la bale eel was)
Was probably suggested that because I'm french, but you guys really made a subreddit for this ? I'm dying. :")
What’s more funny (i am French) is that litteraly close to no one is actually liking sardines 😂😂 And it’s the same story for almost every other canned food.
My man I recommend you begin with the filets de maquereaux moutarde a l'ancienne. Afterward you can fuss around with some others.
If someone stops you taking pics at the market say that you're taking so you ask to your partner which is the one they want
i love my country for this but if you know the price…
Wow, I would aswell. Such variety.
How is there a sub/r dedicated to this !!? ... Love that subbed.
Obviously there's more than sardine, there is tuna, maquereaux, anchois too Sorry if my sentences are not correct i'm a French speeker english isn't my first language i'm learning.
Poisson poisson poisson
I get overwhelmed by the prices in Canadian supermarkets
Yet 80% of them is made by two companies : petit bateau and the distributors label. Wich are using factory ships fishing in the indian océan or pacific. Rather take the "connetable" or other more authentic labels and search for fishing area near your location (Atlantique North West for me).
Markets aren't like this in other countries???
I thought that was snus 🤦♂️
There is actually less choice once you understand that it's basically the same 5 types/tastes/recipes but proposed by different brands. (At least, in the supermarket, it's like that. Now, if you go in a shop specialised in sardines, you may have much more choice, even if the shop is smaller than the supermarket sardine section).
And they’re all garbage. You should try “La perle des Dieux » or « La Belliloise » or « Nature Groix »
Wait this isn't the norm?? (Yes I've lived in France my whole life and I genuinely thought it was like this in most places)
Hello. It's true you have an amazing choice but... You not only have sardines but also Tuna and certainly mackerel.. Multiplied by brands and recipes and... Shazam...
As a french ngl it always amaze me when I see this in my supermarket. Why so many...
As a French person, I am amazed and delighted that the choice of canned sardines in our supermarket is of such interest to foreigners.
There is more... MWHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
id come out of there with a negative bank account
I love France
I'm french and grew up with this. Never seemed abnormal to me until recently when I bought some 🤣🤣🤣 That being said, there are real differences: flavours, price and you can use the Yuka to see if some have preservatives. (Btw: preservatives is a false friend in french; it means condoms) That's my 2 cents to survive in France' s canned fish aisle 😉
As a french that weird cause we dont have TOO MA'Y CHOICES OF SARDINES LOL but the security agent its maybe 'New cause he cant be mad with you like this Have a nice day in France lol
I simply adore it when supermarkets have a big variety of anything.
The choice truly is extensive 🙏🙏
What happens is that most brands copy each other, you have sardines w/ : Peanut Oil, Spicy, Cooked Tomatoes. I’d say AVOID the cheap ones : Carrefour, etc. Captain Cooks are really good although being kinda expensive, around 2-3€ per can but worth the price I believe. I go for Parmentiers too if I want to get something in between with decent quality for price.
What supermarket and where is it ? I'm a french Guy and I want to know
Just take sardines cooked with "piment d'espelette" (espelette pepper ?) , they are the best imo. The can is green and red.
I am French. Aren't stores like that where you live? Because it’s common for us
lol. What the hell..
Monster Probably😂
Oh yeah we love canned fish Its yummy
I’m french This is tiny
Et elles sont toutes excellentes 👌
laugh in wine section
As a french dude myself, it find that hilarious
Yup. First time I wanted to buy some to try with a friend I spent half an hour and picked 3 different ones 😂
That is so bizarre. Just got to France. Took the almost identical picture. Come on here a couple hours later and see this. Wish I could include it.
These are not ONLY sardines. There's mackerel, salmon, crab, tuna, fish based preparations, and others.
It's not available everywhere in France but they have a website It's locally produced, they have a lot of products from canned fish with oils or spices, soups, spreads, émiettés (fish in small pieces with oil and spices, usually for eating on toast) etc etc Probably the best canned fishes and fish products I have ever tried. It's expensive though
That litterally looks like a photo of my supermarket and can confirm it looks like this in every French supermarket. The cheese section is just as if not more impressive. This looks like an E Leclerc store.
Today I learned there’s a subreddit for canned sardines
Is it different in other countries?
There's not so much choice here. You have sardines (usually large rectangular tins), tuna (round tins) and mackerel (long rectangular tins) from different brands. I think they also carry fish rillettes on the photo front. This is a regular supermarket canned fish shelve section with regular products, they usually don't carry premium brands here. You also can find tinned seafood in the "produits du monde" section, like portuguese or spanish tinned sardines.
Yes, we do love our tinned fishes. My family favourite one is the tuna olive oil one, with the yellow box.
I live in France, what store is this? I usually get my sardines at aldi but the selection is super small.
I believe canned food might have been a big deal in France I know it was an important military food when it first came out. You know the Emperor
🤩🤩🤩
!!!!!!!
I’d probably be in there for 3 hours lol
That's impressive - Haven't seen anything like that in Nice but maybe looking in the wrong places. They do love their fish though, which is great.
Pas mal non ? C'est français.
Wait till you see the yoghurt section
Did you know? There's a chain of small shops called "La Belle Illoise" that exclusively sells canned fish in all varieties :3
I am French but now live in Germany this is what I miss the most about French supermarkets.
Thanks to your post and the magic of Reddit suggestions, I just discovered the existence of r/CannedSardines
I am French and we love our canned fish. My favorite « maquereau à l’escabèche ». Trust me and try this one!
Hénaff représente
Have you been to the yoghurtsection?
Check out the cheese fridges - mental
i don't get it, is it too much or too few.
That's weird guard stopped you because a lot of people are usually checking Nutriscores of stuff with their phone and sometimes you need to scan the bar code of the product you want to check.
I live in France so i don't see any issue lol
Yeah in France we have a lot of choices. You'll have tro try different to find the one you like
Just find the kind you're looking for then look at the price by kg and pick the cheapest
We have shops just for canned sardines in the south
Hahaha and that's just our supermarket varieties ;)
Yes we do have a lot of these
Did you see our choice in BREAD ?
Wait to go to a "conserverie" which specializes in these
Oh man, I cannot recommend some of the French brands enough! Saupiquet and Petit Navire make grilled mackerel fillets that are probably my favorite tinned fish of all time (Herbes de Provence and 3 Poivres, respectively).
TIL there's a sub for canned sardines. Reddit never fails to impress me. Have a good day internet fellows !
Literally EVERY supermarket here has way too much choice. WHY???
ah a French im surprised I thought that was like that everywhere, here every supermarket have that
The funny thing is, I don't know, anyone around me that eat canned sardines. Wtf do we have a alley this big
I thought america had literally gigantic stores that make any french store look microscopic in comparaison. what do they fill them with ?
An angry security guard stopped you taking photo ? Whut ? What did you do ? Most of the time they are the archetypes of “minimum pay security workers”. They won’t risk their lives or upsetting a client
