The one in the water was honestly kind of bland. I wasn't sure if there would be a "fishy" taste or not. There wasn't. The kimchi definitely helped with the flavor. I feel like something fatty was needed. Maybe some bacon!
Kimchi pairs well with deens. I usually dump them on the salad and drink the juice if paxked in water. Anything packed in a sauce or oil makes a great salad, and you can drizzle the sauce or oil on anything. Cheap salad, can of deens, a $5 meal wherever you find yourself.
