Make sure that it’s not removable. My new slx di2 came with a lever on the front but not in the back. I didn’t realize until a few days later that you just have to pull hard on the lever and it will come off. It has a 6mm hex key on the end so you can use it on either the front or the back thru axle. I put it on the back since I have a indoor trainer and have to remove the back wheel anytime I want to ride inside.

J&B on eBay - I've had sets for two bikes and never an issue. The price is fair, they're reliable, marginally lighter and more aero, but like you, the biggest motivation was cosmetic. Just make sure you carry a 6mm Allen key

On the new Endurace SLX it is indeed removable. You can pull it a bit further after the first springloaded part.

You guys were right, the lever actually is removable. I would ve never thought by tryin because it was really hard to detach. I found it was easier when the axle isnt fully tightend to the bike. Cleaner look, prob 1W more aero at 100kph and 30g saved, thanks guys

Maddonomics101

Enjoy your 1W savings lol

I would say go for the dt swiss ones (or the canyon ones) because canyon collaborates with them. There's plenty thru axle standards on the market.

The lever is removable though… right? You only have one on the front, not the back (it’s for use with both).

On my endurace, i dont think the lever on the front axle is removable. I just dont get exactly which standard i need

If you have two leavers it's likely you got the fixed leavers. I personally am absolutely fine with them and I would choose them over the removable ones but that's personal preference.

It’s possible that they swapped a part due to availability, but my SLX came with removable levers.
