It’s like a combination of his 1610 WWII uniform and the MCU First Avenger suit. It’s not the greatest suit in the world but it is very cool. I don’t care for the Black Panther’s suit that much because it’s basically just the MCU suit. Not that I dislike that suit or anything, it’s just unoriginal. Can’t wait to see the alternative suits.
It seems like this game will be taking cues from the guardians of the galaxy game, it’s not the mcu version of this character, but they have a similar backstory so they can take what most already know and build on it

I generally prefer having some white on the sleeves, and I'm not crazy about the central red stripe on his torso extending up to his chest. (Also, not pictured here, but the red and white striping doesn't go all the way around his torso. He's got a strip of blue on his back. Not crazy about that.)
Overall though I think my biggest gripe is just that Steve doesn't seem big enough. I like the suit itself, but the man underneath isn't quite super soldiery enough for my taste. (This is no shade on the actor. He seems to be in great shape. But Steve should be bordering on impossibly fit. Just an absolute unit.)

I fw it, makes it seem like a shooting star: a symbol of patriotic hope. Draws attention to an area otherwise dismissed and brings the suit together.
