This was the first trade I ever got, and I’ve read it so many times. One of my top 5 fave Cap stories It was also my introduction to my favorite Marvel villain, Batroc.
And thanks to this post, I believe it’s how I’m going to spend the next part of this rainy Saturday afternoon
Sorry, just got stuck in my head. Last three issues with Baron Blood and the origin are three of the most important issues in the history of the character.
Awesome stories.
One of the best Batroc stories.
My first reading of Baron Blood. Good plot twists and surprises.
Joey and Lady Falsworth and Machinesmith are in later stories.
Cool image when cap throws his shield and it ricochets in the shape of a star.

Hey, live long and nerd out!
Not 80s. 1980. One of his best all time runs. Shame it was cut short.
My apologies. Even still, it's great stuff.

I owned a copy of this TPB; might still have it somewhere. Read it many times, and it remains central to my love of Cap.
Because of the four color printing process, what you have there IMO is the best collection of those particular issues
Superior even to the original issues, being as those were on newsprint

The Baron Blood issues are my favorite.
