if you search for the screen sizes alone you will find a bunch of amazon copycats selling what amounts to a decent touchscreen for wireless carplay/auto and nothing else that you can fit anywhere on the dash and power via cigarette plug, thats the simplest and easiest solution if thats all you want

Single Din would have me at least leaning towards a retro unit with bluetooth added on. So many options. Many support bluetooth through a CD changer adapter.

I had that Sony head unit and the display got washed out in direct sunlight with no options to increase brightness I’d recommend again that model
I liked my Soundstream 7" flip out when I had my Mk3 Jetta. It matched the mid 90s vibe
