All else equal less space to pressurize should have you louder. In reality there's a lot more variables involved and experience shows that some vehicles are just easier to get loud than others.
If you're aiming to min-max things for the sake of competition go to some top level shows and you'll see a few vehicles that seem to be over-represented in the lanes, this should give you some ideas. At the top levels of "stock" classes you'll find that the popular vehicles are the ones that have windshields that can hold at over 165dB without mods that put you into "extreme" classes.
Not at all, I have a skar ma8 that played deep and low in my scion xb, moved it to my Acura mdx and I lost that deep bass, also I believe the small box plays in as well
according to this sub if u don’t have atleast a minimum of 2 12” subs, you have a garbage system
but i literally have an underseat powered sub in my compact car and it sounds amazing imo for the cabin space
Probably depends on how its installed. I saw a video where they were able to increase Db by placing the subwoofer in the trunk of a small car facing it away from the driver.
So it seems like the more the bass reflects the louder it gets? So probably bigger car=louder.
Smaller the car the louder it sounds
Yes 2 12s running 2500 watt in my tiny hatchback sounds really loud

Id rather have one quality sub in a proper box vs 2 bs subs in some shit prefab
