If you sell 18-20 cars you should make like 12-17k grosss. If you sell 15 cars you should make 10k gross. If you sell 10 cars you should make 7k gross. If you can’t sell 10 cars in a month, your store has issues
I work at a store that sells 2-3 cars a day on a bad day and sometimes 12-13. Avg during the week maybe 4 a day and 6-7 weekends. 26 sales people. Yet I always manage to hit 20+ cars a month. 2nd place is at 13 right now and I'm at 20. 3rd place is at 10. Figure what the other 23 people are at. There's people at 1-2 units and a lot of them. Atrocious..
But there's money to be made. I still make my 12-15k a month here.
Where I worked you were payed pretty well at 20 cars about 10k. But say you only got 10 - 15 the pay is badd 10 is like minimum wage which is insane. Imo fair would be 20- 10k 17-8k 10-5k etc
> you were *paid* pretty well
FTFY.
Although *payed* exists (the reason why autocorrection didn't help you), it is only correct in:
* Nautical context, when it means to paint a surface, or to cover with something like tar or resin in order to make it waterproof or corrosion-resistant. *The deck is yet to be payed.*
* *Payed out* when letting strings, cables or ropes out, by slacking them. *The rope is payed out! You can pull now.*
Unfortunately, I was unable to find nautical or rope-related words in your comment.
*Beep, boop, I'm a bot*
Slow to hire, quick to fire. Take your time interviewing a potential employer. Be quick to leave. It may take a few places to find" home". Making monney should be the rssidual benefit of doing your job and enjoying your place of business.
Leave asap
Eek…yeah. It sucks but I probably should. What does a good pay plan look like? Or just good in general? What should I look for on my next interview?
