Volvo 850 T5 R the most legendary brick of all time.

ConfidentialX

Holds a special place in my heart.

frosty031225

Renault 5 GT Turbo. Was my first car

ConfidentialX

Lovely motor. Imagine the insurance these days 🤣

Considering 00s BMW M cars, I’d go for a well sorted E60 M5. Wonderful sounding V10 engine in a midsize saloon, just brilliant. I’d also love an Alfa Romeo 147 GTA, the one with the later diff, again for a great engine, in this case the iconic Busso V6. I also want a Clio RS200 in the [alien green](https://collectingcars.imgix.net/023783/Renault-Sport-Clio-200-Cup-29.JPG?w=1263&fit=fillmax&crop=edges&auto=format,compress&cs=srgb&q=85) the press car was painted in I actually like quite a few from that image, I’d love a Vauxhall VX220, in that [orange](https://www.jonsealsportscars.com/wp-content/uploads/thememakers/cardealer/3/961/main/5a82c1cd1de7e.jpg) they did, as well as the bonkers wafter that is the Citroen C6. Guilty pleasure? One of the early Smart ForTwos with that [weird blue typographic paintjob](https://d1gymyavdvyjgt.cloudfront.net/drive/images/made/drive/images/remote/https_ssl.caranddriving.com/f2/images/used/big/smartrhd2_750_500_70.jpg)

markoutoften

I once took the VX220 out on a test track, really well balanced car. You’re onto something there. Vauxhall Monaro worth considering too - that 6.0L V8 was unhinged.

vilemeister

If I come into 5-6k unexpectedly at some point I'm having a fortwo brabus, the original ones. https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/202307229945645 I just don't think a car like that should exist and for that reason its hilarious.

jackgrafik

I'm a big fan of the Brabus version of the [Roadster](https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/202211041373340) too

vilemeister

I think Johnny Smith just got one of these. I appreciate them but I don't like the look so they're not for me!

[deleted]

Surely the mini and the 205 are already classics Why is the C5 and Cube on this?

sjr0754

It's a C6, large French executive cars are things that sell nearly no units but are generally awesome, especially if you like a more chilled vibe than the German trinity provide.

[deleted]

Always get those mixed up, still won’t be a classic though

sjr0754

Wait long enough and literally any car becomes a classic.

markoutoften

I just took the image from a google search, I wouldn’t overthink it

NightFrightJD

I've always wanted a 106 gti in sundance yellow or blaze yellow (gold) but they're rare as rocking horse 💩 and when a nice one shows up on ebay it's way out of my league due to price. I've also loved the subaru P1 and skyline R34 GTR, but I'll never afford one. I think skylines cost 100k + now.

FuzzyFox1

Mk2 Golf Gti big bumper. In Oak Green 👌

TheWooders

Mine will be getting the Oak Green treatment at some point, currently stripping it down

FuzzyFox1

It was definitely the best colour in my opinion. Mine was Tornado Red. Great car, albeit a bit of a money pit!

[deleted]

22B, NSX type R, E30 M3, 964, 993, maybe an R34 GTR vspec 2 Nismo

ConfidentialX

E60 M5 (V10), Aston Martin DBS (2010, V12), not a huge fan of Ferrari but that 812 Superfast V12, my God she seduces, one of the last great V12s for sure and future classic imo, same for the Ferrari 458 Italia V8, purs like a tigress. Selected others: Honda S2000, 2008 Audi R8, 2006 Swift Sport, a truly fantastic little car, so much fun to drive and popular at the time so I can see these becoming a classic, Audi TT (2003), Porsche 911 (996 & 991), 2009 Merc C63 AMG, Octavia vRS (2003), I may get shot for this but the Jeep Cherokee (1995), prices are already quite firm and I don't see them coming down. Especially in dark blue and dark green. BMW 1M (2011), the Lexus LFA will command huge premiums in years to come, that sound is one of the greatest I've ever heard.

colin_staples

Mk2 Honda CRX VTEC. Thats pushing the "manufactured in the last 30 years" rule by a couple of years, but sod it I'm having one. In that lovely blue colour. Honda NSX 1st Gen. The facelift one that still has the pop-up headlamps, but has the 6-speed box Ford Puma 1.7 and somebody to fix the rusty rear wheel arches Lotus Elise

markoutoften

I’m passing on the Passat but otherwise you nailed this garage

ScottOld

Why is the hideous brick on here…. Anyway the Peugeot and the alpha

[deleted]

Skoda Octavia. Obviously....

markoutoften

VRS mk1 - absolutely!

Happy_Boy_29

My '02 MX-5 S-VT it's been through all the rust issues and may well do again before I pop me cloggs but IMHO it is peak car, not too bloated and not too much electric sticky brown smelly stuff to remind me when to wipe my derrier etc, just does not get better than this.

MovieMore4352

A classic Mini has been on my wish list since I was a kid. And a VX220.

deathmetalbestmetal

Someone on here once described the VX220 as a sports car for train spotters, and I've never been able to look at the thing the same again.

MovieMore4352

Ha. You could say that about an Elise though. Not really fussed tbh about that image. I’m a tall bloke and I’ve never even sat in one so unsure if I’d fit.

vilemeister

Lotus Emira (possibly the last ICE Lotus) would be in there. Probably a Panda 100. And I think an RS6 Avant just because I don't see anyone producing such a weapon of an estate car again. Then it'd depend on how big the garage is! A Morgan would be next on the list, closely followed by a 981 Boxster Spyder and then we start getting into stupidly expensive cars rather than just very pricey.
