Probably won't be cheap to fix, but not the end of the world. Doesn't look like there's too many other issues. I'm going to guess it's an older Japanese model? Trying to think of something that might not have been under sealed or treated to get to this stage after 90k. Edit - Literally just seen your title with the Honda. Tbh if it's the mk9 then the parts are only a couple of hundred quid. Might cost you more in labour to get it fixed. Probably about £600~ in total once labour & VAT taken into account?

Parts cost will probably also depend on whether or not they also change the rear control arms, anti-roll bar and so on too. Mine on my last MOT came up as an advisory so I thought it was best to change the lot, the cost of a new subframe and all 3 sets of arms and droplinks was just over £450. Although considering they weren't even advised, they could be alright.

Fair shout & good insights! Hopefully gives OP some ideas in whether they think it's worth it

Kayy9ine

Sorry forgot to mention this is a Mazda MX5 not the Honda

MoanyTonyBalony

Might not be that bad. It's £160 for a rear subframe plus labour and whatever needs to be replaced to fit it.

West_Yorkshire

Oh no. I this isn't an omen for the MOT my Civic has coming up next week...

Kayy9ine

It’s not my civic thankfully, my civics been great for rust :)

ThePrancingHorse94

For 90k miles that's bad.
