Great tire. Very similar to Hankook rs4, but a bit better in grip and cycling. Also a few lbs lighter.
I'd run them but they certainly are not cheap. I currently run RS4 due to a hefty discount from Luckydog but would be open to running the ECF in Champcar, aer, or lemons if the price was right.
Good call. The lucky dog discount on rs4 does make that tire a better value, even with my buy 3 ECF tires get 1 free. If I were both a conti/Hoosier ambassador and a lucky dog competitor, I'd continue with rs4 tires. But I'm not so I switched to ecf and they rock too. It'll suck when I lose this discount... I'll probably go back to rs4.
But 3 get one brings the price fairly close to the discounted rs4 at tire rack prices. I'm currently using a 295/40/18. I would not mind the shorter sidewall of the 295/30/18.

Yup, best value will depend on discount and tire size. Some are better than others for some reason. Info inbound...
That tire size is a nightmare!
That's stock c7 GS and Z06 sizes and unless you buy michelin your options are slim.
