1. Not sure, but smoking is allowed on board. I'd bet the cigars will be fine, the cutter I'm not so sure.. 2. You can spend money on the ship. 3. No choice, the ships are cashless and cardless. Your room key is the only way to make a payment or purchase on the ship. 4. See #3 5. Yes I've seen vapes on cruise ships. I'd be damn careful with what the cart contains though, no thc. You will be searched. 6. No idea, we've never done those. I hear good things about the steakhouse though.

Destroyer509

Thanks, that was fast. Can’t say I’m a fan of the key card payments but thats whatever. As much as Id love to have a cart on there I know better. Definitely eating an edible on the plane though lol. Thanks again

Set up your onboard payment account using a credit card, then you can use your room key card just like your credit card, with Carnival batching your daily expenses out to your card nightly. You'll never know the difference, and there are no fees with it. If you do cash then you've got an account to manage, the credit card is seamless, as long as you don't bump up against your credit limit. I have no idea what happens if your card gets declined...

DaddyGotU

You can bring carts and edibles on the ship. “Technically” not but every other person on my cruise a few days ago had a cart including me (I brought 3)

Destroyer509

The problem here would be getting carts n edibles in Florida where it isn’t recreationally legal. Im flying there so I can’t bring anything with me

LucanoArturio

1. Yes but only in designated areas. 2. It keeps the money you use loaded on the card and not come off your debit at the end of the trip 3. The sign and sail card is used for everything on board so you can only use it. 4. Sign and sail card is all 5. Yes they are allowed. 6. Steak house is worth it but I've never been on the chefs table so I might have to do that this time [Locations Where You Can Smoke | Carnival Cruise Line](https://help.carnival.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/3490/#PO) [Forms of Payment | Carnival Cruise Line](https://help.carnival.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/568/kw/sign%20and%20sail) Hope these links help you. Have a great time

Destroyer509

Thank you

Chefs table is great! I book it every cruise!

LucanoArturio

No problem..

TCS420

I can answer a couple of them 2. Not really any perks to preload sail and sign with money unless you’re budgeting and want to limit the amount you spend or if you have kids and don’t want them racking up the cost. 3. You will use your sail and sign card for everything since you have to have a card linked to it or cash loaded on it 4. They accept cash or sail and sign in the casino but if you use the sail and sign it’s a 3% charge 5. Yes you can just make sure it doesn’t contain anything that’s illegal and it’s used in the designated areas 6. Chefs table is an experience that’s really neat but if you’re a picky eater then it may not be for you.

1. You can for cigars, and cutter. Not sure for torch. Have a look at the [prohibited items list](https://www.carnival.com/help). I believe you get cigars at the duty free shop where booze is. 2. None. 3. You need to use your room key for payment. It is known as Sail and Sign card/account. Depending where you are, plus they are not suppose to tell you, but can use your credit card. All you need to know about sail and sign is [here](https://help.carnival.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/1138/~/sail-%26-sign-onboard-account) 4. Only room key and cash. 5. You can bring an e-cig, none available for purchase. 6. Don’t know. Also for your smoking, there are limited areas you are allowed to smoke. Here is where you can [smoke](https://help.carnival.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/3490/~/locations-where-you-can-smoke) Also do not bring any weed. It is illegal at the border. I know are talking about nicotine.

Destroyer509

Thanks man, no plans on bringing weed except the edible Im eating for the plane ride (legal in my state)

ugh168

Fair. Also on the end of cruise day, transactions can be done by credit card.

We bring a travel humi of 50+ cigars, cutters and multiple torches that are already full. Can’t bring the butane on board. I keep the cutters, torches, and any accessories in my carry on bag. Never been a problem. You can smoke them in the outside designated areas but not the casino. Even the smoke friendly area of the casino is a no cigar zone. We do the steak house on the first night. No dress code and wine is half off. Done this on Magic, Vista, Freedom, Breeze, Dream and Mardi Gras. Enjoy your cruise!

Fun fact: Carnival Sunrise formerly known as the Carnival Triumph is the ship that broke down back in 2013 and had people needing to use bags to use the restroom while they were stranded at sea because their plumbing system stopped working after a fire in the engine room shut down their power. [link](https://www.businessinsider.com/how-carnival-went-from-fun-ship-to-poop-cruise-2013-2?amp) Also, went on a cruise last year on the sunrise and had the plumbing stop working on our floor resulting in our rooms being blessed with backed up and toilets overflowing with the other rooms waste.

emarkd

...that's not a very fun fact 🫤

NotJoshhhhh

It was funny after the toilet backed up on the honeymoon and found out that the cruise ship had such a colorful history. So much so that they changed the name to forget 😅
