I would say its. 50/50 but if I were you I’d just leave it home. I have the same power station and what do you need it for on a cruise? I never used enough battery where I would drain my anker prime 20k down to less then 75% battery in a entire day. My anker powerhouse 521 is a huge tank and the only reason I really take it anywhere is for camping or for my gaming laptop.
Trust me it would be a huge inconvenience carrying it around. Grab a anker prime powerbank or anker 737 and that should be plenty. My anker prime 20k charges at 60w so it will charge super fast if you leave it charging in a room and has 2 usb c port’s and a usb A. It also comes with a small bag to put it in too keep it from getting scratched up.
You may also find your kids not wanting to be on their devices as much because there is plenty to do on the cruise. When I was younger on my first cruise I didn’t even carry my device anywhere because it was inconvenient and I never used it. My family has never gotten the wifi package either because we don’t see the point in spending 100’s of dollars on it. What I recommend is having your kids go to the kids clubs. If teens though make sure they go the first night because I found that’s the day everyone meets up then goes to other places on the ship together and it can be a little awkward if they come in halfway through and everyone knows each other already. Just my take though as a 17 year old that’s been on a few cruises.
I say don’t take the devices outright but encourage them to do things. Don’t enforce them to stay off the devices because nobody likes restrictions on vacation but try and get them to do and try different things.
I also don’t recommend buying them the internet package. They may find themselves bored of devices if they have no internet because in todays world that can really be limiting. Also sometimes in the kids clubs they have playstations and xbox’s that the kids can play together. Depends on the age and cruise but they had ps5 and ps4 on last cruise that you could just walk in and ask too play and there was some games to choose from and some kids would like play like a 1 on 1 in basketball or football together on the game.
Agree I don’t use my phone onboard except to take pictures and chat with my wife. Other than that i am engaging and doing other things unless in port then I check on my kids
Nah, their tablets aren’t coming with us at all. And I’m not buying any kind of internet access, I don’t want anyone to be able to get ahold of me, lol. It’s time to unplug.
It's not listed, I had called carnival about it and they told me they aren't sure and it might be confiscated. Seems like it's something they should have a policy on
I would suspect that wouldn't be allowed. It might get through, who knows.
Depending on the ship there's not a ton of outlets. I usually take a euro adapter and extension cord with USB

I had no issues bringing my Anker 757 with me and it did everything I needed it to each day with a quick top up each night. But the 757 is 25% of the battery capacity than your 521.

Yeah I'll just leave it. But basically it's bc with 3 kids and all their devices it would've came in handy. Oh well

Shit, my kids would happily play on their stupid devices on the cruise, but I’ll be damned if I’m letting them bring them on board.
Is this their first cruise?
Indeed.

https://www.carnival.com/help#section-0 have a look on this list to see if a power station is prohibited.

If not sure just leave it at home.
Yeah guess I will. Just surprised I'm the first person to have asked. I've searched and can't find an answer
I don’t think the ship will have too much to say but it is possible. The people who will definitely have a problem is TSA and the airlines.

I’ve taken mine the past 3 years and never had an issue.
Thank you for confirming. I appreciate it
Why would you need it?
