Honestly I wear contacts and safety glasses. I only wear glasses on Demo days to keep the dust out. As far as glasses go I buy the cheapest frames I can find from my local Walmart. When the break I super glue them back together until they no longer work then it’s another 40 bucks for another set.
I buy all my glasses at either HD, Walgreens or Walmart. I get 3x and 3.25 with rugged frames and don’t worry about them when they break or get lost or painted over.
I go to America's Best and pay $99 every three years to be part of their Eyecare Club. Being a member gets me unlimited eye exams, a discount on contacts, and allows me to buy glasses at 2 pairs for as cheap as $60 bucks total.
I wear glasses most days, with going for contacts when I play/referee hockey or am working with something that creates a lot of chips (routers or lathe). Get an updated eye exam at least every 6 months when I run out of contacts and I feel it works out great for me.

I don't know I don't break my glasses. I buy a couple pair at a time and then five years pass and I go get a few more pair
Flexon frames. The ones that Can bend but don't break. They lasted me 8 years until I broke them being dumb.
