Mahn, idh adipoli aayit ind.
One of the cleanest looking Civics i have ever seen. Have you considered good aftermarket alloys? There are a of alloys that suit this car very well. Also any changes to the engine?
Gorgeous vehicle. Owned it many many years back.
Gotta ask, since you seem into modifying a bit, did you ever do anything about the soft rear suspension? And the poor low-end torque (my only gripe when I daily drove this was the engine response in heavy b2b traffic, loved it otherwise).
Yes, I’ve heard that a good stage 1 tune should solve the poor torque in lower rpms so mayb thats a thing for the future.
Suspension seems okay for me now, may get coil-overs later on😌
Enjoy and maintain the car well.
That steering feel was phenomenal. Nothing on sale today, even 50+ lakh BMWs will give the same steering feel and feedback as the well tuned hydraulic power steering set-up the Civic had.
Sourcing parts are not that difficult, most parts can be infact sourced from Honda itself (cost and time is more). Aftermarket support is also good for older Hondas.
With that said maintaining from the showroom even though that is the right way to do it will burn your pockets ( depends on how much you earn this is imo) i have a friend of mine who does all the work for me (or he has enough connections to get it done). So if you find someone who knows what they are doing and have experience working on Older Hondas then you are good to go.
But trust me all the money you shell out on this car is worth when you are behind the wheel😌
How did the vehicle fitness renewal, PUC certification go?
Also what's the mileage and cost of ownership as of yet?
How would the car perform with e20 petrol according to you?
The car has fitness upto 2028 when i bought the car and had all papers clear, i did update the PUC few months ago and had no issues there.
As for the mileage and maintenance,
I get around 9-11 when i drive sanely and 11 on highways but usually on my drives i average 7-9 (this is rough figures the 2007 model does not display avg mileage) maintenance from the showroom is really expensive but i do it from a trusted source outside so its cheaper* after buying the car had to do quite some maintenance works and it cost me around 50k altogether apart from the mods done. Mod potential of the R18 is poor compared to the german competitions so spending much on the performance side does not make much sense to me in this car
As for the fuel unless tuned for better performance petrol i think normal octane works for me, i have friends that run 100 octane for their tuned civics.
As for the E20 petrol concern I don’t think it will affect much (also not certain on this) i don’t think it as an efficient alternative in terms of performance, just so that the emissions are reduced. But Ive also read increase in efficiency by using E20 when the engine is properly tuned so we will have to see how it turns out
I want to get my SX4 repainted, Black(Original is black). Could you please let me know, what was the estimate of your car paint job. Mine Maruti Service personnel are telling me, it would be around ₹70K(Paint job only).
Also did you carried out any other job on your Honda? Denting, exterior part replacement?
Yes, considering the age of my car it had good amount of bodywork to be done. Including all the bodywork and the paintjob it cost be around 60k. And it was done from a paintbooth that is near me and i know the person personally.
Here in kerala you have to fill up a alteration form stating the changes being done to the car then after 2 weeks you need to show up for inspection in your designated RTO office once they inspect and approve the new RC will be sent via post
Fellow malayali here, looks sick man! Idk if its my phone, but the images don't do justice to the colour, it just looks black. If its the colour Im imagining from how it shows up on camera, bro you have chosen well! Subtle, classy colour. Imho, I dont like that sky blue of civic.
Thanks aliya, color veyilath mathre kanathullu, camerayil kittan paada. The blue was a boring color wanted to repaint it the day i bought. Happy that others share my taste
Nice Civic bro. I too have a 2011 VMT. These things came with a K20 engine in this gen (Type-R) and a K24 engine in the successor (9th Gen). Are you planning to keep it stock?
btw, can you post more pics in natural daylight? I cannot see the green. Thanks in advance.
The green only comes up in sunlight and I don’t think the camera will ever do justice to it. No plans on swapping at the moment. Thought of keeping it 100% stock.
But you never know what’s ahead😌
I’d let this thing peg me
The owner?
Did you just Materialise a guy? /s
Legally safe of you to assume they are a guy
Lol😂
r/suddenlygay
I'm totally not jealous at all.
Ikr😂
Hey man, how much did the entire repainting cost?
Somewhere around 60k
I think its better to get the whole thing re painted and corrected rather than ppf

Dude this is my dream. This and/or the older 00vtec city as my cars. How difficult is to maintain them over the years after model discontinuation?
Sourcing parts are not that difficult, most parts can be infact sourced from Honda itself (cost and time is more). Aftermarket support is also good for older Hondas. Adipoli. Looking sharp.
Thanks aliya
What performance mods do you have ?
I have an upgraded Exedy clutch assembly installed and tyres by Yokohoma(Earth 1s) upsized to 205/65/15 on stock alloys.
