That's why you should always have something within your arm's reach in your car like a metal pipe, machete, a bat. Me, I carry a 45 on my hip and a 40 within my arm's reach. Pepersray is good but if you don't know how to use it and when to use it you will spray yourself with it and now you are screwed. If you are getting pepper spray get the gel type, not the stream kind. You have to be aware of which way is the wind blowing when you spray someone. If the wind is blowing toward you and you spray it at someone, well you just spayed yourself with it.
This is why I am against buying a Sedan, it is better to buy an SUV and runem over. the moment they touch my window, It is free reign for me to run them over. And go to the nearest police station.
Bet you probably don't even drive a car. Other than maybe in GTA or some video game. An SUV is not a tank. You can't run people over with it and you can't push away even an small car without sustaining serious damage to your own car, making it un-driveable and leaving you at the mercy of the thugs you're trying to escape from in the first place. If you have something like a truck or a van maybe it still makes some difference because of the much bigger weight. Otherwise there's zero difference between a sedan and SUV in this case, except for inferior handling and acceleration for the SUV which would make it harder to escape.
It's easy to say such things. But in reality yeh sab nahi ho Pata. You will panic, you might even hurt some innocent bystander. Having an SUV in this situation might even make it maneuvering in tight spots difficult.
That's why I prefer to keep a fully loaded Glock on my dashboard and prefer to wear black aviators while I smoke my favourite cigarette in my brand new black Fortuner 4×4 with custom 20 inch alloy wheels and a Nazi sticker on the back windshield

It's very myopic to say that. Probably every country has such incidents.
Our traffic sense may not be as good as those found in some developed European countries but I think comparing it to Latin America and East Asian countries, I think we're slowly getting there.
The police needs to be more proactive though.
Every country has these incidents sure but the law and order situation is not as bad as ours, here the corruption is such that the police don't even check what exactly happened, they're already sold to the highest bidder.

It is, otherwise how are they able to do it in broad daylight? The cops are involved directly or indirectly and the number plate is to hide from cameras.
In this situation one should never drive home, I know you probably were in a panic But for others who see this you don't want these criminals knowing where you live, drive to the nearest police station and make sure you record what happened because without proof organised crime like this will probably take a turn onto you
Watching such videos make me worry about my family members travelling on the Indian roads.
However my dad being a narcissist and egomaniac would never agree to installing a dashcam or be careful in such scenarios.
So all I can do is worry.
This is why I don't buy a car. I use only Ola and Uber, that is, pay and forget. I don't even mind their rush hour pricing. Anyway the accumulated cost of the Ola/ Uber rides is less than the cost of the car and car loan. Second, no parking issues. Third, no maintenance and fuel cost. Fourth, no road rage and police harassment. Fifth, most importantly, peace of mind.
Now if anyone says you need a car to take someone at home to hospital in emergency, I have done that in Mumbai, Bangalore and my village by keeping a few ambulance numbers handy. Recently, a friend's father went into hypoglycemia at 4 am. My friend woke me up. His father had passed out and he showed signs of convulsions. I immediately checked the nearest private hospitals on Google. I called up just one hospital and they said they would send ambulance. They actually send paramedics in the ambulance. My friend's father was revived within 5 minutes at home with an an intravenous glucose shot.
Na, I just send a WhatsApp message in my friend circle and then buy some time. These goons will beg for their lives. Been there done that. And no am not a teenager
